Rome Laboratory (Rome Air Development Center until 1991) is the US "Air Force 'superlab' for command, control, and communications" research and development and is responsible for planning and executing the USAF science and technology program.

In 1990 RADC was redesignated Rome Laboratory which in October 1997 became part of the Air Force Research Laboratory.

Location:The Air Force Rome Laboratory is located at the Griffiss Business and Technology Park in central NY state in Rome, NY, about 15 miles NW of Utica.

Rome Laboratory Housing: Military housing at the Air Force's Rome Laboratory at Griffiss Park in New York is not available.

The first time I stepped into Destiny USA, I couldn’t believe I was in a mall; this place was so large, it felt like it’s own city! Destiny USA is more than just a mall though, it’s a 2.4 million square foot complex filled with restaurants, shops, and entertainment! The closest mall to Fort Drum is Salmon Run Mall located in Watertown, but to be honest with you, the options there are very slim.
