Clarksville Downtown Market: Great Summer Fun

In all of the different cities we’ve been to, I always love to check out the local farmers market on a Saturday morning to stock up on fresh treats.  Not only does the Clarksville Downtown Market satisfy my fresh fruit and veggie cravings, but their 60+ vendors fill the US Bank/City Hall parking lot with eclectic goods sure to please every member of your family.  Whether you’re looking for fresh cut flowers, potted herbs, baked goods, handmade soaps, produce, or patio chairs, you’ll be surprised at the wide variety of quality products displayed for purchase.

Though I deem myself to be a great judge of a good time, don’t take my word for it—Clarksville Downtown Market has been voted America’s Favorite Farmers Market in the state of Tennessee for three years in a row!  While the market is open from 8:00AM to 1:00PM, it is strongly recommended that you arrive early to enjoy all of the vendors before they sell out for the day (and with dedicated regular patrons, I’ve seen vendors sold out by 10AM!)  If you’re looking to enjoy a beautiful summer Saturday morning and support local business, make a point to peruse the Clarksville Downtown Market!
