Dover Air Force Base: An Indoor Gem!

19 July 2013 by

Recently my family and I flew Space A out of Dover Air Force Base.  We had a few hours of down time while we were there so we ventured over to Dover AFB's Bowling Center Eagle Lanes.

I was pleasantly surprised by the indoor facilities at Dover AFB's Bowling Center!

At Dover AFB's Bowling Center you can find

  • Indoor Climbing Playground
  • Cafe with daily lunch specials, $3.50 kid meals, pizza, deluxe salads, nachos, & more
  • Bowling Lanes
  • Party Area (Including Themed Kids Birthday Parties)
  • Airman's Outpost
  • Barber Shop

Eagle Lanes at Dover Air Force Base Bowling Specials

Tuesday & Thursday Special: Bowling $1/game, $1/shoe rentals

Monday: Bowling $1/game, $2/shoe rentals

Airman's Outpost at Dover Air Force Base:  All FREE

(Airman's Outpost is located inside Eagle Lanes Bowling Center)

  • Boasts a large screen tv (home theater set up) for movie watching
  • 8 Xbox sets with gaming chairs
  • Wii & Play Station3
  • Air Hockey Table
  • Small Billiards Table

What a better way to spend a FUN day indoors than with a game of bowling, indoor play climbing, tasty food from the cafe, some video game playing, and if you are really desperate get a haircut at the barber shop!

The facilities were clean and our family had a great time spending a few hours here.
