Children's Museum of Virginia in Portsmouth Whether it's too hot and humid or we just need a change of scenery, the Children's Museum of Virginia in Portsmouth is a fun place to go. With two, newly renovated floors of activities for children, all ages will enjoy the hands-on museum. Children's museums are not your typical museums. Strawberries in San Diego It’s strawberry season in San Diego, and the best place to go is the Carlsbad Strawberry Company, across from LEGOLAND . After a hot day at Legoland we decided to stop into their stand to get a basket of fresh, juicy strawberries…and oh my, they were good! They were gone before we got on I-5.
