Location:   The 439th Airlift Wing is a unit of the Air Force Reserve Command and is assigned to Westover Air Reserve Base. Westover ARB is located in Chicopee, Massachusetts, in the northeast region of the United States of America. Westover is the nation's largest Air Force Reserve base and operates 16 C-5A aircraft.

Housing:  Westover ARB has a limited number of government quarters which are located right outside the base and managed by Atlantic Marine Communities. Housing is available for active duty personnel of all services. Housing is available to Reservist, DOD Civilians, and retirees on a space available basis. A waiting list is maintained by the Base Housing Officer. The Westover housing office is located right outside the base can be reached at 413-331-3205.
