This is a no-kill shelter. Everyone who works there is really friendly and genuinely cares about the animals there. They won't just give animals up for adoption to anybody. There is a long questionnaire to fill out if you are interested in one of the cats or dogs there & they review all of the applications and make the best choice for the pet in question. The facility is kind of old and seems a little bit run down, but the animals are well taken care of. They are really good about providing information on their Facebook site as well. And they love getting updates about pets that have been adopted. We got one of our pups there and could not be happier.
