Why we dedicate ourselves to our clients!
After 6 or 7 moves between cities (St. Louis to Louisville, to Little Rock, to Memphis, back to Louisville, and back again to Memphis) with kids of all ages (babies, school aged kids, and even a freshman and terrified junior in high school), some moves okay and some moves pretty bad, but none very easy, we decided that our mission was to become real estate consultants and relocation/moving experts! And that’s exactly what we’ve done.With Bob’s entrepreneurial background in restaurants (including commercial real estate) and Diane’s in education and design, we have put all of our efforts into giving our clients absolutely the best real estate experience they’ve ever had. Meet the Peterson Team - Diane & Bob!
Bob grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from St. Cloud with a degree in Business. Diane was raised in Mason City, Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Family and Consumer Science. We met in St. Louis and have been married 41 years. We’ve worked together 14 years, and Bob likes to joke that “The 14 have been harder than the 41!” We sometimes offer 2 opinions since we come at real estate from different angles – Bob starts in the attic with construction, Diane starts in the kitchen with the softer side. Regardless, we pledge to be completely honest with all of our clients – if we believe a client is making a bad decision, we tell the truth from our perspective and still support and fight for our client’s choice, whatever they decide.
Now empty-nesters, our older daughter, Nicole, lives in Charlotte, were she teaches anthropology at UNC Charlotte. Our younger daughter, Amy, teaches third grade, and lives in Greensboro, NC with her husband, Jimmy and our 10-year-old grandson, Connor.
We are members of Hope Church where we are actively involved in mission work in Ecuador. We have traveled to Quito and the surrounding area 14 times and stay in contact with the many friends we have made along the way.
We also enjoy tennis, golf, mild Memphis winters and acting as tour guides to our many out of town clients!
