My professional experience prior to real estate includes five years in the foreign service including two international moves. I received a master's degree in business from UNC "“ Chapel Hill, after which I worked in mergers and acquisitions for Nations Banc Montgomery Securities where I worked on both buy-side and sell-side transactions for privately-held middle market companies. As such, I have a full appreciation for all aspects of real estate investing from cash flow and return on investment to asset management.

More importantly, I was raised in Northern Virginia and moved back to this area eight years ago to raise my own family. Having lived and travelled extensively overseas, and having lived and studied in North Carolina, there really is no place like home
