This school is very ignorant and i do not like it, you are not safe at this school theres a lot of open areas where intruders could easily come on campus. Lack of communication, the teachers are mean and yell most of the day. The 7th grade assist principal is the most unprofessional staff working at PCIS . Students are very out of control. Teachers inform on things very lately and do not show concern for any of the students on campus. Coaches have 0% respect for the diversity of all races mostly African American and Caucasian. The lunch ladies are very rude and serve slouchy food with expired milk along with rotten fruits.

My child went from loving school to hating school! She's gotten hit by other students multiple times and they didn't even get suspended for it! She's in 6th grade learn stuff she learned in 4th grade. This is a below average school! If you can help it don't send your child there!!

Horrible school and staff!! My son moved from smith station to pcis & the difference in my crazy is honestly sad. He has never struggled with grades or bullying. His life has been threatened numerous times!! He has been slapped in the face, IN CLASS IN FRONT OF HIS TEACHER! with nothing done! He has been body slammed to the ground IN FRONT OF THE P.E. Coach with NOTHING DONE!! I could go on and on!!! On top of kids bullying him, the P.E. Coaches & most teachers ALSO DO IT!! They refuse to do anything. I have been to the board of education, filed reports, made meetings etc.. none of that matters. This school honestly needs to be shut down!!!

The school would promise about how they would stop the bullying from getting further for me, and it only got worse because, after they talked to the bullies, they started calling me a snitch and more. I also told the teacher about a special needs kid who was being picked on by a smarter and popular student, and she told me that it wasnt her problem. And continued to let that poor kid get bullied by the popular students. Please dont send your children to this school!!!

I'm a student at this school and yes there are some not so great things about it but it's mostly the kids doing the bad stuff and the teachers do there best the accelerated program (which I am in) is great and the teachers there are also everybody needs to chill out there are just some bad seeds that make the school seem bad but underneath all that is a great school with awesome students and teachers.

Class sizes are huge, with each class having 29-30 students. Classrooms are small, and materials are scarce. Students are not given any independence and are walked to each class in a line, as well as eat lunch with the teachers in the cafeteria. The only arts class is band, and that pulls them out of their enrichment period. Students do not have the opportunity to take music or art as part of the general curriculum. Special education services are a mess and completely unorganized.

Thank God we moved our son out of state away from this school. The discipline is horrible and the student support for struggling students is nonexistent.

They strongly encourage programs like Jr Beta and the leadership is always around between classes encouraging kids to be their best

Great principals. Each grade (6 &7th) have their own principals and counselors as well

My son is on the spectrum but also very gifted. The school has gone out of their way to help make things easier on him. Again, wonderful support team at PCIS

My children rarely have homework at PCIS. Most of the time they are able to finish it at school. Both my kids are in the accelerated program so even while leaning a year and a half... moving very quickly.... their grades are amazing. The teachers give them tome to be kids at home and not have to work all day at school and then work all night too. They do have homework occasionally and big projects but I have never seen my 2 stressed over it which I love!

Wonderful and caring teachers. They make learning fun and interesting. They are amazing and working with the kids as individuals and not just a group

Excellent and Im thankful my kids will continue there this year. We considered moving them to smith station but after doing research we saw that would be a huge mistake. PCIS has 6or so stem labs that every kid gets to work/learn in daily. Amazing stem classes like Aeronautical engineering. Smith station does not offer stem classes. They also do not have a advanced academy nor do they have laptops for all the kids. At PCIS every child also has their own laptop as well as tons of programs and opportunities
