The teachers don't care about mental health or physical health when you are bleeding inside and can't run. They still force you to run. The coaches write you up for the smallest things and the other teachers can't teach barely anything and if you ask for help they tell you no.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing South Girade Jr. High School, and I cannot express enough how fantastic my time there was! From the moment I stepped onto campus, I felt welcomed by an incredibly supportive community. The sense of camaraderie among students, teachers, and staff is truly remarkable. Everyone is invested in each others success, creating an environment where learning flourishes.
The classroom learning experience at South Girade is top-tier. The educators are not only knowledgeable but also passionate about their subjects, making lessons engaging and interactive. They genuinely care about each students growth, providing personalized support and encouragement. I was particularly impressed by the innovative teaching methods that promote critical thinking and collaboration, making learning both enjoyable and effective.
The school also fosters a sense of belonging, with various clubs and activities that encourage students to explore their interests and develop new skills. Its clear that South Girade Jr. High is dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals.

Sigh So disappointing to see the quality of teachers this school has to offer. This particular school is just another example of the school to prison pipeline on full display. Simply warehousing the children and teaching them to pass test as a way of making the school/teachers stats look good on paper, nothing more nothing less.

This is a great school. The teachers are great as well as the administrators. It is clean, orderly, and safe. Students consistently rate it as one of their favorite schools...including my two sons. But because the school is located on the other side of town and use to be the historically black high school, it suffers from an unfair perception problem. It is not a student perception problem but rather a parent perception problem...most of who have never stepped foot in the school. These parents simply need to grow up, be honest, and examine their own suppressed racist views. By the way, I am white and very proud to have sent my children to this school.

Well this school is a very great school for learning. But the only thing that people might have a problem with is the location because it is in the hood. The kids there are very nice and friendly. We have lots of thing to do at this school we have some of the nicest teachers and if you are not good at making friends you can make some. Also, you might want to bring your own lunch because it is nasty! Thank you
