All 3 of my kids have gone through Sparkman Middle. In recent years, the administration has changed and I cant tell you how great it has been for the school overall! It has been a great experience for my kids.

I have had to children go through this school and one more on his way! I cant imagine them going anywhere else!! The administration and the teachers are all energetic and motivated to see your child succeed. I feel that my kids have been in a safe, nurturing environment and that they are getting a proper education. We love SMS!

I dont feel like my kids are overwhelmed with homework every night. They are in sports, and want to watch their friends play sports, and attend midweek church activities and this allows them to have the free time to do so. My children are in Pre-AP classes and still get good grades without excess homework.

I love SMS and it's staff! My son has had such a wonderful experience so far. You can tell everyone puts the students first. They are always approaching new ideas to help improve the learning experience!

The teachers do not send home much homework. They believe in teaching in class and encourage studying at home. It appears to be very effective!

They have ant-bulling rallies and parades to get the students engaged, and also instill in them to always go to an adult with any issues. Our teachers and administration have zero tolerance and would handle any situation immediately. I have felt 100% safe in my daughter going to Sparkman Middle the last three years.

I love the fact our teachers don't send home hours of homework, they teach in the class and just have the students study at home.

Our teachers care for every student with their education and personal lives, they offer their own personal time to tutor students who may be struggling.

Sparkman Middle is always showing our students service before self... With the things they do in the community or fundraisers to help the community we are showing our children great morals.

Sparkman Middle has the greatest administration staff, they are always coming up with new ways to engage our children with everything they do. I would have to say we have the best principal in the county, he even takes the time to send you a thank you when you volunteer at the school.

We have had a wonderful three years at Sparkman Middle, many of the teachers and staff have become like family. We are truly going to miss our school after this year, but I know all the wonderful people have helped to prepare my daughter for the next level of learning. They are a part of molding her into a wonderful, smart, caring young lady, and I couldn't be prouder.

My child is excited about being a part of Sparkman Middle School. I feel like the administration and staff are doing a great job of making this school the best it can be. It was good that they allowed them to pick their elective this year. Looking forward to having a fantastic year at SMS!

My daughter loves going to school now that she started Sparkman Middle School. She never wants to miss school at all. She is an A honor and loves playing her trumpet in the band. All her teachers are great and she loves them all. She is in advanced classes.
