My son transferred to Bayside in high school from another private school in Alabama. He had a good experience at his previous school. He had a GREAT experience at Bayside. What sets Bayside apart is its culture of care. He is now in college, and he is doing well, but the relationships he formed with his teachers has been enduring and touching. I've never seen anything like it. This has given him self-confidence, but it has also helped him learn to be an advocate for his own education. We could not be more pleased. If you are looking for a personalized educational experience in a rigorous college preparatory environment, Bayside is your school.

We moved to the area midyear and unsure what to expect. We figured between Covid and uprooting our son in midway through his kindergarten year, that the smaller environment Bayside provided would be best. Unfortunately, this would become one of the worst decisions we made. Full disclosure, I'm a very experienced public school teacher. I've never thought about putting my son in a private school, because while this sounds incredibly snobby, most teachers who couldn't hack it in public school ended up at much lower paying private school jobs. Private schools also provide much less PD and service less diverse learners, so they tend not to have the same knowledge base that public educators have. After hearing the rave reviews about Bayside, I went against my best judgement and my son received a very expensive, sub-par education. I have never in my life seen a kindergartner bring home so many worksheets. I'm actually surprised the staff didn't realize how bad it looks to send a student home with 30+ worksheets every Friday, not including the 2-3 that were sent home for homework each week. While I'm not opposed to an occasional worksheet, kindergarten should be more hands on. My son made no progress in reading and though he's always excelled at math, begin to hate it due to the lack of hands on work. On too of the poor education provided, it was very unorganized for such a small school.

I have not seen this demonstrated, but I assume they deal well with bullying since I have not observed or heard of it happening.

They go out of their way to foster children who learn differently. They offer many services, such as the learning center.

They are very transparent and communicate their goals and values very well.

One can see the difference in children who go to this school. They are well behaved, polite to adults and other children, and present themselves very well. This stems from the culture at the school that is cultivated by the school mission.

I found that the teachers at Bayside really care about the children and are proactive in working with the parents for what is best.

Bayside is a fantastic school because the teachers and staff really care about the children. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and the kids reflect that.

Worst experience of my life. My family wasted so much money attending this falsely pretentious school filled by spoiled children, and run by a group of arrogant parents . The academic are not what they are made out to be by the administration. Don't waste your money and time at this "school".

Horriable School there are more boys then girls and they do not disclose that. My daughter was bullied so bad that she would cry every day. I went to the school three times and even spoke to the other parent. NOTHING was done about it. What a disgrace that you are supposed to trust your school to care for your child and all they worry about is who gives the most money. This School is only good for children in seventh gd up at least that way they can protect themselfs. What a Joke!
