Daleville schools is not only the home of the 2024 National School Counselor of the Year recepiant, Dr Diane Virgil, it is also the home of a team of many others who generally care about the success of the students. The class of 2025 received $ 5.2 million in scholarships and had a 100% graduation rate. In addition to the academics, Dalevilles award winning Pride of the South marching band has been invited to travel and perform all around the world. Last year, they made the trip to Italy. The school also has a great career tech, JROTC, and athletic program.

They allow children to curse in the hallway and loud talking in the classrooms and dress how they want without proper punishment

I haven't seen this school deal with a bullying situation since we've lived here in Daleville Alabama because the teachers and principals are fugazi and they are trash and they do not care about other children when they are the victim

I do not recommend anyone come to this school to try to get an education because you are not going to get one because none of the teachers and principals care about any student that is up there

They don't give proper notes for the kids to bring home for their parents to try to explain to them

I can't say enough about this school. I made the decision when my child started kindergarten to enroll in Daleville City Schools instead of Enterprise. I had a choice and have not been disappointed. The environment is supportive and a wonderful confidence builder. She is now in the 9th grade and loves her band. Can't say enough about the band directors Mr. Nichols and Mrs. Robertson they really go above and beyond. All the other teachers are class acts. She has even had the ability to take a college level German class which is a great opportunity. I do get the occasional complaint about the lunch room but she just takes her lunch. What kid doesn't complain about cafeteria food? Keep up the good work DHS staff. You are appreciated. The ability of a child to excel in school has a direct correlation to their parents involvement in their education. I appreciate the fact that I found a school willing to let me actively participate.

Horrible Principle and even worse superintendent. Andy Kelly only cares about a paycheck while Mr McDuffie has no clue and does not care about what goes on in the school. If you care for your children then do not send your kids to sny school in the daleville city school system.
