I am extremely disappointed with how bullying is handled at this school. I have gone up to the school multiple times for the same ongoing issue, and there was never any real resolution.
Despite repeatedly reporting the bullying, it continued, and my child suffered significant emotional harm as a result, including depression and suicidal thoughts tied directly to the stress of the situation.
I have also spoken with other parents who have experienced the same lack of action and similar unresolved issues.
Both from my own experience and what I have heard from other parents, there is also a concerning lack of care from some staff, including accusations made without evidence, belittling of students, and little to no support for children dealing with difficult home situations such as absent parents or family instability.
When I brought this to administration, the vice principal was dismissive and did not treat the situation with appropriate urgency or concern.
No child should have to experience this level of neglect when seeking help. The lack of action, communication, and follow-through reflects a serious failure to protect student wellbeing.

This school did everything they could to make it difficult on me and my family because I refused to allow them to use corpal punishment. They treated my son like he was such a problem, when the truth was the teacher had no backbone and would just send him to the office. Once i denied them to use corpal punishment, they would just send him home everyday for 2 or 3 days at a time, but give me a hard time if he missed school because he was sick. He was in kindergarten.

I think this school was good but not the best in PE the PE teacher were rude and would yell at us a lot. They are very much military base and act like we are in the military when they would yell at use. As a student I would complain about this school a lot when I would get home. So I do not recommend this school.

The principal knows ALL of the students' names. If the child isn't doing well, there's after school teachers that help them out, very good idea, this creates a more personal experience for the child, and the child does better! The students are encouraged to read a lot (fabulous), to participate in the classroom, in sports (PE). I was more sorry for my grandbabies to leave this school than they were! I recommend this school to all parents who want their child to learn good, moral, educational habits! Thank you, Rucker Blvd Elementary School, principal and teachers!!!!!!

My granddaughters are there. Their teachers are very nice and helpful. Their principal, Mr Jonathan Steed, knows the children, the parents and even ,actually, picks up papers in the grass! Love these people!

Mrs. Hardrick showed that she loved and cared for these children as if they were her own.

Their behavior program is the reason my son excelled in school. Every person on his team loved and cared for him. They were always willing to step in and help him and the staff was never in a hurry to suspend him, but rather find a better answer to how to help him succeed.

I wish we did not have to PCS and leave this school.

The bullying at this school is ridiculous. There is no consequences for the offender!!! My daughters teacher is in over her head. My children and I agree that this is the worst school we have ever had to deal with!

I could not ask for a better school for my child! The teachers are wonderful and there are many opportunities for parental involvement. It's nice to feel like our family is a part of this school.

This is the best school! The last four years have been awesome! We will not want to leave.

My child has attended this school for 2 years. The teachers, principal, and other staff are wonderful and I love that they offer so many opportunities to be involved in my child's education!

The principle at the school is not someone who cares about children or the parents of the children. Her distain and condescending attitude towards parents and children at this school is atrocious. She llacks the knowledge to identify behavior in children that could be associated with a behavioral disorder. She continually used corporal punishment to disipline a child known to have ADHD as if you could paddle the ADHD out of the kid. Iinstead of addressing that this child had ADHD she worked with the child's noncustodial parent to get the child removed from the home of his primary parent based on the behavior the child was displaying due to his ADHD. Never did She hold a conference with the child's mother to discuss that the child should be referred to a behavioral health professional. She continued to give referrals and suspensions to a child who has nearly no control over his behavior.Suspension for the child was given without the primary custodial parent's concent or knowledge. This is not a school you want your child to attend if they have any behavior health issues or disability. If so, you will be considered and bad parent and may have your children taken away.

Rucker Blvd is everything that I hoped my children's school could be and more! I seriously love this school. The environment is safe, clean, fun, and of course educational. The teachers are outstanding, and they really, truly care about the well-being and success of my children. The only con that I can think of is that there is no gym, but that's really no big deal as that just means more outside time for the kids. There have been huge and outstanding improvements under the new principal, and with her in the lead I can easily see a new gym in the near future. The principal is outstanding and very down to earth. One of my children has extra behavioral needs that have cause some serious friction in past schools. But the current principal actually listens and focuses on the needs of the children and not just what's on paper. The building and grounds have also been greatly improved. My kids love RBE and it's safe to say that we consider ourselves a part of the RBE FAMILY!

My son loves going to school at Rucker Blvd Elementary. The principal has done great things since "taking office" in 2011. She is kind and understands the unique needs of military students. I've enjoyed open lines of communication both from office staff and my child's teachers. I appreciate that he is engaged in an active learning environment and encouraged to always do his best. I believe the small school size and low student - teacher ratio also make a difference. It may not be the newest or prettiest elementary school in Enterprise, but it IS the best!
