Overall, nobody should visit this school. It is completely unfair and unsafe. Enroll your child if you don't care about their well-being or future. the academics? Horrible. The rules and handbook? completely unfair. Please keep your children safe and STAY AWAY from this school. The staff isn't horrible. It's just the district and curriculum I'm worried about.

If you notice the older reviews were written when the school was a neglected part of the Pulaski County School District. The community took full control in 2016. Yes, there were some growing pains. Today, the school matters to the people who are invested in our community. Today, the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District is revitalizing our schools: last year we opened the new high school building, and in 2021 we will open our new middle school and elementary school on the former site of the old high school.
Things have drastically changed for the better in the last 4 years. Even through our challenges with COVID-19, teachers, administrators, and our local community have joined together to provide the best opportunities for our students. It has not been easy, but we are seeing progress through the tough times too. I am proud to say, that JMS is transforming into a great school.

Changes in Leadership have been taking place and will continue to take place as the new JNPSD takes over from PCSSD. This is a game changer and the support that has been offered already from JNPSD is evident. Our son has enjoyed his experience here at this school and his teachers are great.

Yea,this school isn't the best....but they get what they can and do the best with it!this school etches to better deal with problems and to help with problemss!they all do the best and that right there is a charastic of an aMazing school!!so if u wanna go to a rich prep school where everything is handed to you,or go to a school where work is never a ecsepcion (spelled that wrong)then go here!!p.s. There is no doubt that the physical structures are lacking due to the age of the facilities. Given what the teachers are provided with by the school district, they do a phenomenal job. One teacher in particular, Mrs. Evelyn House, has spent over 25,000 dollars of her own money to provide technology, ebook readers, classroom chairs, and supplies. You won't find this type of dedication anywhere else in this district..The other faculty and staff go to great lengths to make the best of what is provided to them by PCSSD. Parents and patrons of Jacksonville need to get behind the teachers and let the district know that the promise of a school district in the future does not relieve them of the obligation to care for your children now!!

Just by the looks of the school, poor football protective gear, poor academics (no Technology!), even some school employees do not promote this school, . . .Jacksonville, AR Middle Schools, (Boys & Girls, strange set-up), is in desperate need of PCSSD Admin direction/consultation, and financial help, to say the least.

The schools in general are awful in Arkansas. This school is disgusting. The bathrooms are gross. Most children would rather wait 8 hours to go use the restroom then the ones in that building. The children are awful. There are 10 children per day getting suspended every single day in every grade. They don't take tests serious not even the teachers do. The teachers seem smart, and honest at parent teacher meetings. All of that is an act. Teachers calling students stupid because teachers at that school can't teach right and let the students take over the class period, fooling around. Just don't send a child that wants to learn to that school. The same goes to the high school.
