My child ìs thriving after resent struggles with a learning disability. She is happy and she has friends. The teachers don't treat her any differently. Central high is not perfect but it is more than satisfactory.

I'm currently a student at central high and its the best school I have ever attended. (That's saying something since I've gone to five different schools throughout my life.) I have really good friends and everyone I've met is weirdly really really nice, but its probably only weird to me because I came from a middle school with some really bad people. I'm glad to say that Central is not like that though. I'm only in ninth grade right now but everything I have gone through at this school has been amazing! The sports team are great! (except for football, but were getting better?) There's hundreds of clubs to join, I really recommend joining some. Football games, basketball games, and the dances are going to be the nights of your life! Oh and btw the 2026 class made the number of students that go to central bump up to 3,000, so I hope you love being around people!

they give too much unnecessary homework and projects even over the summer instead of actually giving us some simple stuff to review and remember for homework
Posted: July 29, 2019
the good teachers are forced to give many useless projects, and the rest literally give notes after the test. you will rarely get necessary resources

this school is terrible would not recommend. The main thing they seem to promote is their diversity which isnt even necessarily a strength. you should not choose a school just because its diverse.

The students are disrespectful! The opposite of "compassionate".

Depends on which teachers you have, some teachers are good and others aren't so good; but that's the case for every school out there. But for the most part the teachers have been effective.

This school is probably the best in Little Rock, but boy does it have it's problems. The administrators are rude and instrusive, and I have been bothered and harrased by my peers since 9th grade and not a thing has been done about it... On the other hand, most of my teachers have been good and the AP classes are definitely challenging. Academically this school is a nice choice, but I'm not so sure if that's the case in other aspects...
