Do not put your child into this school, me and my brother were in it for a very long time because it was closest to were we lived but it is not worth it. the only good thing about that school is that the SOME of the teachers actually teach. They have a huge bullying problem that they only adress by yelling at the children. They ignore and blame people who reach out and say that they are being bullied. Some staff even told us to stop being snitches. I saw with my own eyes a child getting pushed around infront of the teachers, a camra, and students and no body stopped it or said anything. The child even looked like he was trying to walk away and hold his backpack as protection. The school is very racist and alot of the kids say the n word. They dont do many drills like fire drills or shooter drills maybe only 2 a year. They also grade extreamly unfairly one year a kid got straight A's after not doing any work because the teacher said " he has potential. The school also claims not to talk about religion ever except only acknowledges Christians in history, still has christmas themed things in school, and also does all of their ceremonys in a church.They also never care about anyones mental health, they were told multiple times that a student was harming theirselves and they told their parents and did nothing else. It really hurts me to write this reveiw but i feel as if people should know the truth about the school.

Staff shame students for reporting drug suspicion. Rumors are made for their children to stay away from whistle blowers. My daughter has been called fat in Spanish and English multiple times. The principal "investigated" then blames my daughter for not reporting this at the same time. (She held her tears in the whole day). The "N " word is acceptable here. Children are rewarded for denying bad behavior. The school gets vandalized regularly by begrudged previous students. They are more concerned with extra credit for their cake walk than math and science. Children are labeled "over-zealous" for being excited about math and science.

Each child is given homework that is due the next day but they're not overwhelmed with it, it's a simple reivew of what they did that day!

Teachers at this school are very friendly, outgoing and always available if you have questions! I love that!

They have a great system that has each child take accountability for there actions, but also rewards those who are doing what they need to do!

Yes my daughter has an IEP but no other student knows about it. Each child has there own goals, and teachers and staff help them to achieve them.

Stacy Martinez has unfortunately been the principal for the last two years. She’s rude, unapproachable, answers the phone like a ten year old asked to wash dishes, loses ALL of your paperwork and makes no effort to corrget cut her mistakes. Belittles the teachers to the point that the students are then introduced to emotional havoc watching their teachers cry and announce to their students that they can’t handle their jobs anymore (this is from multiple teachers not just one) she has absolutely ruined our experience of having any sort of a decent school figure. She has went back to teaching and I pray those students are not treated anything like she treats her staff and her students family. Terrible!

Horrid, save your time and piece of mind and take your children to a stable school I learned the hard way and gave them the benefit of the doubt wasting my time and my child’s education on a no good school like adventure school. There is a reason why you don’t see any comments on here from 2015. Teachers fear for their job and parents fear for retaliation.

If you enjoy teachers that yell at their students then by all means. Their first grade teacher does not even have any degree they took her from a kindergarten aide to a teacher due to the fact that they can’t keep any staff. The only way she knows how to speak to children is by yelling or frantically calling parents to tell them she is done with them but gives a very vague reason why and says “I just want you to know.” Without any resolution as to what she needs.

They have a meeting every morning with students and give them oppertunity to sing the mascot song and the person that should be leading these meetings is the principal but she is too busy texting on her phone locked up in her office not to be bothered.

My granddaughter has been in this day care and school since she was 28 months old. They have helped all of us over hurdles and have congratulated us and her in her love for the school, teaching and for others. She is learning by leaps and bounds and the school and teachers really care about teaching the kids. We love this school!! We have highly recommended it many times and will continue to.

Love this school! My daughter has been attending Adventure Schools since she was in preschool. She is now going into 2nd grade. Love the teachers, and the principal who was a 5th grade teacher at the sister school Academy Adventures for years. He's a very approachable principal and listens to parents. If I ever have a problem, I know I can talk to him and it will be resolved immediately. They do all kinds of events and field trips, my daughter loves it here.

I was so excited when my child first started school here. An intimate atmosphere with quality 1 on 1. I love the curriculm of the school, my childs teacher, it's unfortunate through interacting with some other parents and through my own experience, how the A-rating has made the owners more money driven fiends! If your status is not of finacial stability you are treated as the low end of the totem pole and must earn your right for your child to attend, otherwise you are invalid. Mind you, Adventure School is a free public charter school.

My daughter is a kindergartner at Adventure Schools. She loves the teachers, AND the learning curriculum they have in process. They are always learning tons that fascinate her! Also in the most creative way to teach everything! There is a ton of caring from the teachers all the way to the all the students here!
