A teacher failed my child. While he struggled with his education, reading and writing. Instead of helping him she degraded him for it. She made him feel less and constantly mocked him in front of his classmates. While I did file a complaint, she never apologized to me or my child. Nothing was done, all that was left was her feeling resentment towards him. I do not recommend this teacher. I had to complain about 2 teachers, only one of them actually started doing his job.

The school does nothing about any bullying, and never keep the kids under control. With special need students they just expel, suspend, or punish them for acting differently. The lunchrooms are absolute chaos, phones out during class, and one time my kid got punched and the person only got suspended for one day. Substitutes do not teach well, and overall this is a terrible school, would not recommend.

GMS is a great school with teachers who want their students to succeed! There are so many options for students to get involved and a be part of the school culture. They have an award winning STEAM program that is one of the only PLTW distinguished schools in the county. All subjects work together to make sure the students are learning at a high level and test scores reflect this by showing much improvement over past years. They have championship-winning sports teams including great basketball teams who have a brand new gymnasium being built. The campus overall is aesthetically pleasing and was just updated in 2022 which gives it a modern look on the exterior and quad area. It is the ONLY school in the district that has an actual Track, Football field, Gym, multiple soccer fields, and brand new outdoor basketball/pickleball courts with great playing surfaces. They do great things for students such as mental health awareness events, shaved ice and carnivals, giveaways, Friday student store, sports awards, science fair, battle of the books, leadership class, STEAM nights, Parent-Student picnics, sports tournaments, and much much more. 100% would recommend for students to attend this school.

This school doesn’t care for students at all, the principal, teachers, yard aids, security, and counseling loves stirring up arguments with students and punishing them for fun. Kids like doing drugs way in the back where the field is. One time a yard aid told me to not have an umbrella on a really sunny day, even though she was using one, like does that make sense?! School staff are using favoritism on any student that they befriend. while others get a normal punishment or worse (detention-suspension-expelled), they’re favorite student gets a Pat on the shoulder and a warning. This school does not emotionally support students at all. Counselors don’t do they’re jobs with kids, they whine to parents on back to school night or whenever they feel like it. And there’s all these problems with this school that it needs to be redone or shut down. Do not, I repeat DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.

To be honest with the rude girls in the front office and staff -10

Teachers would rather send kids to detention or suspension than work with them and the principle backs them up with no structure to show parents or students why they received the detention they make the rules up as they go and that is unacceptable, Greenfield junior high is failing in all areas according to the state's test scores witch means the teachers and the principle are failing and they want our kids to somehow succeed in a school that is below average and failing them, more parents need to comment to bring more issues to the table.

Ten out of ten of best schools

Highest level of expulsions. School not willing to work with special needs children, will expell them too. Rather than work with the kids, they suspend and expell. Teacher's and principal are the bullies.

Teachers not serious. Play with the kids too much, like throwing pens and pencils at them and thinking that is funny.
