This school is honestly pretty great and I'll never forget it. Never in a million years would I think students would be having dance battles at lunch solely to have fun would happen, but here we are. The teachers are absolutely amazing and they all want you to succeed. Specially Mr. Hanna, he's strict but that's because he cares about his students' futures.

I dont like the school they let racism slide and just tell you to ignore it rather than talk about racism and stopping it

The principal, Mr. Pope, is pretty nice and acts pretty chill for the most part.

I would give this school an 8 because they made me ready for high school and taught me new life lessons. They also helped me deal with whatever problems I had.

They give out homework but don't give you loads of it. They make sure you have time to learn and time for recreation.

Most of the teachers here are nice, although my science teacher, Mrs. Goings, is very stubborn. The teachers here make it easier to understand learning.

The kids here are nice for the most part, but can be mean and fights do happen every so often, but other than that it's a great school. If you're a new student I promise YOU WILL have friends the first day. The students are nice and friendly and get to know you.

This school has consistently delivered students who improve instead of just "moving on". They deal with students from all levels and somehow make it work! All of my children have gone to Thompson, and I think it the best middle school in the district. Way to go Thompson!

The staff at this school turned my daughters first year of Jr. High from scary to exciting and fun. She was a victim of bullying and I wanted to change her school because the bullies were going to this school. within 2 days the bullying was over and my daughter cant wait to go to school every day. I am forever grateful for the staff at Fred L. Thompson Jr. High and so is my daughter. GREAT SCHOOL
