The experience we had with Mesa was amazing, our daughter thrived and excelled and became a wonderful student. Highly recommend this school for a better education. Staff was amazing, and her teachers were wonderful as well.

Teachers: Average, have had issues with grading system. COVID was a disaster. Listening to the teachers on ZOOM at home was pretty horrendous as a Parent. Math and English programs are a bit lacking, think admin should sit on a class or two.

Facility: Outstanding- modern buildings, great access control, security, and monitoring by administration.

Athletics: School support athletics, and has a good level of school spirit.

Administration: Think new Principal is very positive. Think the Assistant Principals are approachable and available.

Think this school needs to take the All students are good and deserve guidance and care approach rather than just rewarding AP type students and athletes. All kids deserve the professional guidance of a counselor- are you going to graduate, go to college, go on to vocational training, or military, do you have personal issues. The hands off approach/parent based model has many kids slip through the cracks without any assistance.

I have been disappointed with multiple math teachers- being in error with grading system, not giving credit for makeup assignments, being threatened when a parent emails or follows up, accessibility outside the student is VERY POOR. Teacher honesty and integrity is average, I have seen some teachers say whatever narrative fits their view, kids first is always the best approach, that is the goal of teaching. Parents only get the negative emails, never a positive, never a hand reached out, nothing.

If I could go back in time, would have went to Murrieta Valley for better school/admin atmosphere or Vista Murrieta, however that school is so large that district makes it tough to transfer. I just remember high school teachers and counselors from a different era- student first approach vs. school first approach. I give this school an overall 7 vs other schools and the great safety aspect.

The teachers are very nice and understanding. This school offers several academic classes and is very inclusive. This school is above average.

The teachers expect the students to meet a specific deadline, however they do not input the students grades into the students portal on time. It leaves no room for parents to help their students in the areas they are lacking.

This school operates like a university with syllabus and set date standards. Minority students, kids with differing abilities, those with non nuclear families are often left behind.

This school should have more staffs training about everything. One teacher shouldn't handle two jobs, such as football coach and math class, which he won't have time to take good care all that many students. Staffs should not bring their kids to school during their working hours. Staffs should say something when they hear students curses, or when they see students smokes on campus, or when female students wearing spaghetti straps tops or too high skirts... Staffs seem to show more respect to those parents who be able to donates, the more donations they make, the better respect they get from staffs. However, not many people can afford to donate. I donated almost $20 every weeks, but still seem not enough for them. Just saying..

Teacher puts in grade F without letting students take test. The staffs are really bad with response parent's email. I got ignored so many times.

They need to fire all the staff here and bring in people who actually know what there doing and actually care about us students. Nobody here knows how to deal with conflict or how to run a school

The leadership students here are put on a pedestal . I've been bullied for 3 years while attending Mesa by one of their leaderships students and they always get away with it.

My daughter attended another high school in Murrieta and then my son went here. Mesa is the most inclusive and well-rounded school in the area. Kids are respectful to me on campus, get along together, are involved in activities and overall high scores. It has been a great experience for our family.

No support for the student who needs additional assistance. Neighbors daughter with dyslexia was encouraged to go to alternative school instead of supporting her at Mesa. And that's not the only parent who's told me about their lack of counseling and educational support. They are more interested in keeping their good standing and not risk an at risk student ruining their reputation.

This school absolutely needs to get its priorities straight. Out of the 6 schools I've been to in my whole entire life, this school is by far the worst. None of the staff could actually care less about any of the student's futures. All they care about is their next paycheck. They worry more about the dress code more than they care about students that are being bullied. I swear all of their funds go to the football team and they won't spend a dime on another activity. This school cares so much about how it looks on the outside but when it comes to our education and future they definitely do not care. All in all this school is horrific and no body should put their children in it.

Horrible school!! The teachers and staff are aggressive, vindictive, and just plain rude. They will not try to help your child in any way! The school campus is nice, but it stops there. You'll be better off sending your child to a charter school. Every day I felt angry that my daughter was not getting the guidance she needed, even from the counselors! They are useless! The school is too packed to have any focus on the individual child and they don't do a single thing about bullying. They puff themselves up by having "great test scores" and a nice campus and such, but it seems they went out of their way to hire the people who work the WORST with children. Not only that, but I was getting emails for MONTHS from them after my daughter switched out asking why she wasn't turning in her homework! Ridiculous! Save yourself the trouble, and do NOT think about enrolling your children here! It is not a safe place for a growing child, yet alone one who's there to learn! Never even think about enrolling here!!

An amazing school with great acedemics and sport activities. Despite only being open for 5 years, I feel like they are on the right track of being one of the best schools in the district. The school is filled with pride and spirit, it's overflowing. Teachers work amazingly with the children and talk to the parents, showing that they really do care for the students. The campus is very spacious and large, almost like a college even. Staff are so incredibly nice and always seem like they love to help out the students and teachers

This school has the best campus of all the schools around. I feel good about moving here from Florida for my daughter to attend this school. She is happy as the teachers are great and the students are friendly with high standards. Track coaches are excellent! My only wish is that the school offered dual enrollment so students can also get college credit. AP classes are offered but dual enrollment is not there yet.

The school overall is great academically and has many clubs, sports, and programs to offer. The campus is extremely nice and feels very open. The only thing that I can't agree on is the way that the office staff handle students, especially the principal and dean. It seems that protesting an unfair issue is seen as defiance and disrespect. Other than the oppression of leadership criticism, great school.

As a student of this school I can simply say this school is more like a prison then a "fun academic learning area" as they put it. The dress code is ridiculous with its mandatory pants rule and not even a peek of back showing. We might as well wear uniforms! I wish this school would focus more on advancing their academics and sports then trying to hunt down the person who's showing a hint of bra strap. As for their teachers, some care but some don't. And the ones who don't, don't even care if you have an F or not. Even if you miss a day it feels like you've missed a month of school. Your grade can drop so low if you aren't there, and let me tell you..I missed a week of school because of vacation and when I got back my grades were F's and D's nonetheless of If I turned the work in or not. I'm sad to say that even tho I thought this school would be amazing it really isn't. Which is disappointing.
