Harvest Hill has gone downhill. The principal, Dr. Darlene Painter, only cares about optics. She really is a cold and unapproachable person who gets frustrated when an important issue is raised. She acts defensively instead of being part of the solution. It does not seem she cares about the frustrations of parents. This apathetic attitude spills onto the rest of her staff (not the teachers). The administration in the office is extremely political. My peer of parents are unsatisfied for various reasons. There has been an abundant amount of turnover in the last few years. Most teachers are great. My gripe is not toward the teachers.

It was horrible. Please never come here, our principal is mean and strict and our school is so small that going in the hallways a like a crowded house party AVOID ALOT OF BULLYING THAT ISNT DEALED WITH ASWELL

We started at this school is Fall of 2021 with the TK program. At the time only morning TK was offered and students wore uniforms. All teachers and staff in our experience have been wonderful. We do miss Mr. Suttner as principal, and Mr. Blanton as VP they were both very engaging and school spirit seemed to be higher. I do wish they would have stuck with school uniforms, that seems to put the focus on academics and it fit the S.T.E.A.M. academy. The new principal has gotten away from the "Innovators" mascot, and there has been no more coffee with the principal mornings. The PTA has been great and overall I would recommend this school.

The administrative team are amazing. I always see them in the mornings, aftershock, and at school activities. Front desk team and nurse are so kind. Teachers are always communicative with us.

Homework isn't assigned as busy work. If the student is not on task during the day, they can expect homework.

The teachers are very responsive to questions and proactively communicate regarding the current state of learning for our children.

As new students, my children adjusted well to their school this year. Teachers and staff value family and view the entire student body as such. Kids and staff are encouraged to build each other up.

The school is very much focused on accountability. The "No Excuses" policy is a vital component to the culture of leadership.

We have multiple children with 504 plans. The plans are taken seriously and our students grades are a reflection of this.

When discussing their day, our children have shared multiple instances where bullying was witnessed and swiftly addressed by staff.

Our experience with this school has been most positive. Education, communication, accountability and compassion are very important to us. We have been pleased that the administrators and educators at Harvest Hill share these same values and consistently model this daily. We find this to be the ideal school for our family with clean, highly functional facilities and a strong, competent and compassionate staff. They are true partners in the development of our children.

HHSA is only 3 years old and we are glad we started here at the very beginning! Each year the school is getting better and the kids are doing amazing academically! The Teachers love what they do and the Principle is the best! The staff really tries to get to know every family and help each child the best they can. My son is in Mrs. Vargyass TK class and has passed his TK words and most of the required Kindergarten sight words. My daughter is in Mrs. Wobkens 3rd grade class and is at a 4th grade level in Math!
