My daughter was one of the first group that went from KG all the way to 8th grade at TIA! She just started high school and she was assigned into French 2 class. First day of class, French teacher asked them to write few sentences about what they did during the weekend. Teacher walked around and noticed that my daughter wrote a full paragraph. She read through and told my daughter that it was impressive. She then asked my daughter to read her paragraph to the whole class and told everyone that if they focus in this class, they’ll get to that level! She later told my daughter that she’s going to speak to the counselor and figure out if she can move her to the next level which would be IB French level for junior and senior classes!!!! This was all because of TIA and the French curriculum that my daughter had since KG and the extracurricular opportunity that they offered over summer for kids to travel to Paris and Madrid!!! Absolutely grateful for what TIA had to offer!!!

I chose this school because I was very impressed with its programs and processes during the tour, but unfortunately, our experience was a major disappointment.
Bullying affected my son for a significant part of the school year. For months, I reported threats, insults, and harassment, provided screenshots, and there were witnesses. A school aide personally found the students following and harassing my son on campus and brought them to the teacher. Other parents also told me that their children had witnessed what was happening. Despite this, it took months for the formal bullying protocol to be activated. I felt that the seriousness of the situation was minimized and that my son was held to a similar level of responsibility as the students who were bullying him, with the expectation that he should stop reporting the incidents and resolve the situation himself. After a full year, in French, the students had learned the numbers only up to approximately 60 and a few basic expressions. I also did not find the small-group classes that were presented during the tour; classes had approximately 22–23 students. The facilities were temporary, shared with another school, and limited, and lunch was served cold. I was also concerned about the lack of staff stability. The principal who welcomed me and explained the school’s processes during the tour had resigned by the time the school year began. We had an interim principal throughout our entire year, and when we left, there was still no permanent principal. I also observed significant staff turnover, and many teachers appeared to be in the early stages of their careers. I do not consider being young to be a negative in itself, but in complex situations, I missed having greater experience and consistency. I also did not see sufficient support for English learners, and there was no permanent school counselor available to support students facing emotional difficulties, bullying, or threats. I wish I had been able to learn not only what the school offers in its presentation, but also how that vision is actually experienced in practice.

Threats of violence are tolerated at this school. Students are allowed to threaten to stab each other with now consequences. Just had to file a police report due to a child threatening to stab multiple children including my own. The school refused to expel the child so I had to remove all three of my children from the school. The main administrator didn't care much about the safety of my kids when I spoke to her.

We love TIA! I love that they're able to take French starting in TK. They also offer Spanish. They're the only public school in the area that offers a foreign language beginning in TK.

We transferred to TIA after five years at a small Christian school in Temecula (that we loved). We weren't sure how our twins would like the new environment since they had been at the other school since kindergarten and had a close-knit group of friends. But right away we were impressed by our twins' teacher. She was so dedicated and an excellent teacher. Both of my twins were challenged academically right away. My son needed more of a challenge in math, and his teacher made sure he received extra work when he was done. This year we have been equally impressed with the education. The twins' 5th grade teacher sends home an email every day, recounting what the kids did in class, homework, etc.

My youngest is in TK and she has already learned so much! She knows all the basics (colors, ABCs, etc.) in French too! Her teacher is amazing, and my daughter just loves going to school. I also love that all the parents are super involved at TIA. We have a lot of fun events (Fall Festival, Holidays Around the World, etc.) that I know a lot of other school don't offer. TIA is the best!

My 6th-grade son was previously attending a local middle school (a great school in a beautiful neighborhood), but after about six months, we started noticing a serious decline in his mental health. He became withdrawn, anxious, and almost unrecognizable from the sweet, happy boy we knew. It was heartbreaking. After transferring him to TIA, we saw an immediate and incredible change. It was like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He told me, “I feel like I can just be myself here, and no one will make fun of me.” He also mentioned that the students at TIA are kind, don’t constantly use bad language, and are genuinely welcoming. To be more specific, "if he does something cringy, no one cares". Because of the smaller class sizes, he gets more one-on-one attention from his teachers. They understood his strengths and weaknesses within the first week (whereas the other teachers at his public school didn't even know who he was by the time parent-teacher conferences came around!), and his confidence began to rebuild quickly. His self-esteem is back at a healthy level, and he’s excited about learning again.

He comes home talking about all the amazing things he’s doing — learning to budget finances, taking a cooking class where they work as a team and enjoy the meal they’ve made, setting up tents in an outdoor skills class, and so much more. As a parent, watching him thrive again has been truly life-changing, and I am SO RELIEVED.

The difference in our child after just two weeks at TIA was drastic, and we couldn’t be more grateful. It’s a small school and may not have all the bells and whistles that some larger schools do, but what they lack in extras, they more than make up for in genuine care, connection, and quality education.
I recommend Temecula International Academy to everyone I know. It has been an absolute blessing for our family.

My daughter has attended this school since Kindergarten, she is in 2nd grade now and LOVES it! She enjoys learning, loves her teachers, and all the staff that works at the school. The curriculum here is outstanding as well as how they include emotional intelligence.

My children have attended TIA twice, we were here initially, moved away, and then returned, and I couldn’t be happier with our decision. The sense of community, dedication of the staff, and overall learning environment are truly exceptional.

One of the biggest reasons we returned is the principal—she is absolutely amazing! Her leadership, kindness, and commitment to the students make such a difference. She goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for both students and parents. I LOVE HER, I LOVE ALL THE TEACHERS... man I can cry right now thinking about it.

I highly recommend TIA to any family looking for a supportive and enriching educational.

Both my kids started at this school when it first opened in 2017. My oldest now attends high school where she is doing amazing. My youngest will be promoting to middle school this year. She has also done very well. The teachers care about their students and the parents are involved in their childrens education. In our 6 years here we have seen growth. We have been very happy thus far.

Our family loves this school. We've have been going now 2 years. The class sizes are small, the teachers care about the students and are highly effective. They also offer a second language during a class day (about 30 min to an hour daily), either French for K-3 and Spanish 4-8 and while it's not immersive it is effective and starting to learn an additional language. The admin staff are effective with providing information on a weekly basis to families. And for those wondering Kinder is all day, and they do offer after school programs. It's also uniform mandatory. However, the only drawback, possibly for some, is that as of 2019-2020 school year they only offer breakfast. Parents will have to pack a school lunch. Compare to Temecula Prep's scores and you can see that our scores far exceed theirs for English and Math in middle school grades and our Elementary grades are about on par, but varies by grade. In the end, I am very happy we went with TIA!!! Go Falcons!
