My company invited Eagle Mountain Elementary School to our ribbon cutting ceremony in our community. Grades 3 through 8 attended with their teachers. The kids were so well behaved, and I was impressed with their ability to sit through and listen to speaker after speaker. Thank you all for coming to celebrate with us. Great job, Eagle Mountain Students!!!

This school is wonderful. The student teacher ratio is like none I've ever seen. We moved from a school of 26 to 30 students in a class, learning disabilities don't get diagnosed or often overlooked because there just isn't enough of the teacher left to address yet another problem. There will always be issues between teachers & students, teachers & parents... I've learned our children don't always tell us the whole truth & that teachers are human too. There is no excuse for a teacher being cruel to a student or ignoring instances of bullying. When it comes to our children & problems at school weather it is with faculty or students, talk it out, get to the bottom of it !!! Eagle Mountain Elementary has such a unique atmosphere & flow to it. It would take a major, life changing event for me & my husband to even consider taking out children out of this school. It is my belief that theses children have a rear acidemia opportunity with having so few students. There is so much one on one time available that many student will NEVER get.

Great. Like everything -including a family- it has its fair share of issues and room for improvement. I like the school and the teachers and feel it’s a good place for my son

Homework is an extension of the daily assignments. Sometimes my kid has homework if it’s not finished in class

Posted: July 23, 2019

Teachers have high expectations of my child and so do I. I want my child to go to school to learn and be productive and not be a problem. When that happens there is no problem with my child learning and the teacher being effective.

Those traits are taught in school and should be taught at home as well. It’s not up to the teachers to do our (parents job) but they do a good job of trying to teach those necessary skills

The principal is understanding and approachable and listens to my concerns and those concerns of the students at the school. Fair and firm

This is such a small school that the students are in small groups and in one to one situations many times. My child gets the extra help he needs to learn. That said my child has to be able to ask when he doesn’t understand or he shouldn’t be off task and playing around and expect to “get it” He has responsibility in his learning

Never been a problem really but I’ve heard about it and it is dealt with immediately.

Overall this school has not helped students learn or succeed in their education one bit (mainly the middle age students) The elementary teachers Are not too bad the middle school teachers are Awful. Its sad and very unfair to the students they are being robbed of and education they deserve from teachers who have the patience to do there job and TEACH with positivity and encouragement

They give way to much homework for one night and Expect their students to know how to do it right away when taught the first time.

Posted: May 13, 2019

Some teachers at this school are not effective at all. Their students know as much as they did by the end of the year as they did in the beginning of the year. Students all fail tests

Posted: May 13, 2019

No Way. They are disrespectful to students call them names, embarass them, make them cry, fight them like teenagers, mock them and yell at them when they need help

Posted: May 13, 2019

Principle defends teachers that bully kids. Leadership is bad when thats the case

Posted: May 13, 2019

At this school if you need help with a any assignment your better off asking your peers because the teacher will get upset and make them feel like failures and "dimwhitted" as one particular teacher likes to call them.

They give detention for every little thing. Dont do your project, DETENTION! Dont finish homework, DETENTION! Be accused of doing something that teacher did not see happen, DETENTION! EVEN THE 1ST AND 2ND GRADERS GET DETENTION AND RECESS TAKEN AWAY FOR EVERYTHING! They are the bullies. Kids dont want to wake up and go to school due to being overwhelmed and stressed out because of teachers.

If one of the female staff members has an issue with your child most of the staff will instagate and look the other way

Posted: April 12, 2019

This school should not exist the children are not treated equal if there is a problem the staff handles it like a group of gelious teenager's they mess with your child's head making up lies they go out of their way to make your child feel like they don't belong making them feel insecure lowering their self-esteem This school lacks the ability of being any type of professional athority figure that anyone could look up to let alone teach someone to be positive and be the best they can be
