Reviews seem to be outdated or maybe a previous administration. I have 3 daughters that attended and never had an issue. I was always informed, always involved, my kids felt safe, and the teachers were there when my kids struggled and helped get their grades up!
Its a great school!!

My experience with this school is not very good. The school staff are rude and often overlook kids being bullied. School lunches also look low quality and have a unpleasant aroma.

The communication at this school is nonexistent. I have gotten 0 emails about school events. Everything I have heard about has came through my kid.

It was ok for a perrys school, but it has gotten progressively worse. There is no stability in teachers and staff. Every year you get new teachers.

There is a no homework policy, but my son's teacher acts like it's mandatory.

This school has become nothing but a joke, broken promises and strict regiment on testing. Where are the electives, where are the arts for the students, where are the great ways of learning social studies & science no interaction, experimenting nothing. This is not a charter for the Arts as promised it is a charter of benchmarks and testing at least three times a week!!!!
Why did most of the teachers leave??? Unsure about this, but half of the teachers left, which is very uneasy knowing that most of the teachers left. I understand that there was a new school that opened within the district, but if you are an established school and everything is so dandy and well why would such great teachers want to leave??? This whole new administration is a joke I would love IHCS to be what was promised at the beginning of the charter school.
This school is not what it seems

Ya some teachers are setting the example very well, on how to become bullies that is.
I do not now what every happen to the main focus of this charter school Character matters, they do not teach the kids any of this they are so focused on testing, passing test scores and if you child learned what was supposed to be learned in whatever grade that he or she is in doesn't matter, they still need to move on to the next grade so that the school doesn't get any backlash from the state. Before teachers and staff members had to be wearing uniform along with the students to show character, now teachers and staff members wear what they please weather it falls with in school code or not, where is the respect to the school in that?

I love it! Great academic work. My kids complaint about lunch, but It doesn't matter when they are in a grat environment, when they have understandcouling teachers and a Concerned and caring Principal. I waited for three years so they could get in this school, and it worths it! I hope the can work in the pedestrian access soon. Thanks!!

My kids have been attending Innovative horizons charter school for three years and I am pleased to say that it is a very good school. I love the fact that my kids have been in a lot of activities that were never offered to them in their previous school. The school staff is on top of everything, parents are more involved in school events. I feel the the only thing that should change is making it easier to have kids test for learning disabilities, but for the most part is that my kids love this school and never complain about having to wear uniforms. which is a plus for my wallet. keep up the good work and full commitment to these kids that really want to learn.

I have been a student at Nan Sanders for 4 years and enjoyed it every day. Everything from the playground to the staff (except the lunch). The parents who comment on this have never gone to Nan Sanders in the past 10 years. Nan Sanders is a great school and I.m to have gone there

Nan Sanders is a school that needs a lot of work. They have become so focused on raising their poor test scores that they have forgotten that children need to be exposed to more than practice tests.
