I have been here for a short time and this school is my favorite place. If you dig deep into information about this school, you may stumble onto a Wikipedia article about it with a "homophobic allegations" tab on it describing the school not wanting to announce the GSA club. Let me be the one to tell you that this isn't the case anymore. The morning announcements regularly tell students about the LGBT club here. Teachers here are very queer friendly in my experience and there hasn't been a single issue so far. I only came here in the first place because all the negative reviews were from around 10 years ago. I have no regrets. This place is awesome.

Excellent teachers. PVHS teachers are amazing! My children have enjoyed their classes. PVHS leads the way incorporating recent technology. We are so happy we chose Paloma over Murrieta. PVHS is a hidden gem in the Temecula Valley area.

I just move from another city, We are very sad bc I though this school Paloma Valley H.S. its going to be much better, But I am definitely wrong. We missed our old school, since the first day that I enrolled my teen I noticed the much differences, What I can see Teachers has no Motivation, Enthusiasm, to teach our students DEFINITELY Teachers are not happy to teach and make our students to success in life. My suggestion is to get in involved in our students education, and ask PTA or ADMINISTRATION.. to send the whole staffs to get more trained and get motivated to look forward:)

My school isn't the worst school but it's certainly not the best. The teachers show a lack of enthusiasm. It has a depressing vibe all in all. I've been bullied for the entire time I've been here. I told staff and administration and they never follow through with what they say they're going to do. They just give the student OCD and hope it goes away. It never does. They say they have a " Zero tolerance for bullying" That's incorrect. They never fulfill what they're supposed to do. If you want your child to be happy in high school do NOT send the here. My depression has gotten worse and worse since I've been here. Think twice.

My school has a very low amount of teacher who care about helping students learn and prepare for the ap test. Counselors are careless when it comes to helping students about selecting the right classes. Also girls head basketball coach needs to be fired for showing favoriting acts towards certain girls.

Paloma Valley is a great school because it advocates inspiration and helps students find their full potential. The kids there are great and when you step on campus, you feel welcomed. My daughter attends PVHS and she has told me that all her teachers are supportive and she has never been turned out when she needed help or further assistance. She tells me that the teachers are what has made her school experience the best she has ever had and that she hopes that for the further generations that attend will be able to benefit from what this school has to offer. In my opinion, this is one of the best public schools I can send my daughter to.

I guess this school & the teachers are what we have to live with today. So much Is missing In education today, I can't believe these kids are going to make It In life. You see It today when you go to the store & watch the cashier, usually 20 something, try to figure out you change. Some teachers at this school don't even grade homework. They just give you credit for turning It In, even If It Is wrong. Some teachers will put you In a group for an assignment. Then they will pick one student In the group, grade their work & give the other students In the group the same grade. 'Please teacher, don't pick the lazy kid'. An AP teacher told his students at the begining of the year that none of them would pass the AP test at end of year. He was right, boy what a teacher he Is. Another teacher penalizes all his students In the class If some of the students don't turn In their homework. After four days of school and my kid spending most of the weekend working on homework, they go back today to find out that two kids didn't do their homework. That gives the whole class two points against them. The teacher told the class they get ten points and then the difficulty of their finals test goes up.

Paloma Valley High School I believe that the school needs another way of picking up students. They need to work with Menifee and find a place to park or look into other entry ways for parents to pick up the students. I have watched people almost run over the students and not give them the right of way to cross the street. I am sure that someone is going to be hurt by cars not giving the students the right of way.

PVHS is a great school!!! I've been going here for almost three years and love it. Although I will say we could have a few better teachers and there are few other issues but every school has their own issues no matter where you go. Out of all the other high schools in the Perris high district we are ranked the highest. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to have a good experience in high school.

I got involved with Paloma High School when my son and I went to Orientation in June of 2012. I was highly impressed with the Staff and Principal. He got involved in Sports, and I volunteered for as much as I my time would allow. In the past year I have been on Campus a lot, and have seen that the administration has backed up their rhetoric. Kids seem happy and respectful and my son is being challenged academically by teachers that seem to care about their students. I would encourage every student to stay involved and be respectful. Parents should Volunteer as much as possible. As with everything in life, you get out what you put in.

As a student, I've seen this school change immensely in the past four years--and for the better. Granted, in 2008, the reviews on here would definitely apply-- terrible counselors, sluggish administration, and all that junk. But in the time I've been here, this school has really stepped up to the jplate, improving academic programs, encouraging a strong and safe community (with some help from the student-led PLUS program). And as far as bullying, I saw little of it. I wasn't popular by any means, but I didn't really encounter closed-off cliques but rather open social circles. Unless someone had a really obnoxious or arrogant way about them, bad reputations are hard to come by in a school of 3000+ students. Even so, remember no school is perfect, and that Paloma is what you make of it. I can't speak about the sports program, but if your student has drive, then they'll join clubs, do volunteer work, get to know their counselor (even with hundreds of students, mine knew my name and face well by senior year!) and take AP courses (which brandish some of the most talented teachers at the school), they'll make fond memories here.

Unsupportive, uncaring staff and administration. High tolerance for bullying. More concerned with scores than student safety. Teachers that are unwilling to go that extra mile for students. Counselors seem uninformed on how to guide students
