I would have never enrolled my child into this school if I would have known I would deal with this type of principal! She abuses her power and does not know how to talk to a parent! They would rather sweep issues under the rug than solve them! This is why children suicide because of staff like this! They would rather let bullying continue and get rid of the child thatÂ’s getting bullied than actually resolve the issue and contact the other parents and the other student! Schools fail children and this school and principal is a great example of it!

My children have really benefited from attending TES. When that weren't up to the level they needed to be the teachers stepped in to make sure they got the additional tutoring they needed. The teachers here are very passionate and they give their all. I love this school.

The students learn from TK and up that having integrity, compassion and respect for others is very important, They have a whole week devoted to teaching this and my children really take a lot from this as well.

I haven't had any issues but this is a zero tolerance school when it comes to bullies.

I love TES. My children have had wonderful experiences here with very loving and kind teachers. The teachers are so passionate and push your kids to always do their best. When my daughter needed additional help with reading she got it and now she can read on her own. She said she felt like a whole new person! My son needed help with math and received free tutoring and now he is doing very well in middle school. Over all this is a great school. I think people tend to be judgy because it isn't in one of the nicer neighborhoods in Temecula but these teachers are the best, they give their all and your child will notice that at the end of the day. Go Tigers!

We have enjoyed TES and are proud to be Tigers! TES has great teachers, admin. and staff. The principal does a fantastic job for the students and families at TES. We have met many great people at TES and enjoy the many amazing Title I nights the school hosts. The Mayor even read in our kid's class for Read Across America Day. Thank you TES.

This school has amazing teachers but the culture brought on by the principal is pathetic. She has run all the parent volunteers out of PTA so now it is made up of only staff members. PTA president is rude and dismissive to parents and he does not communicate so no one seems to know whatÂ’s going on. The principal argues with everyone who has a concern and is known for being gossipy, anyone who has stepped foot in the front office has witnessed this. The teachers are awesome, a new principal would be the right start to changing this schoolÂ’s bad reputation.

My daughter loves TES. I was worried when she first enrolled, but we have very happy overall. The principal is ok. The teachers though are amazing. I can't say enough good things about the teaching staff. The school has lots of technology and a free afterschool program that kids seem to love.

TES is a school that is lacking academically. I know this first hand. Both my children have attended Helen Hunt Jackson from the time they were in kindergarten. Then we relocated and TES was made our home school. My son went into 4th and my daughter into 2nd. And both of them came home with the same exact complaint, "I already learned all this LAST YR!! It's boring in my class...there are kids that don't speak English. So the lesson is reviewed over and over." I made sure TVSD knew this and they assured me it's all the same curriculum. The next yr I did an intradistrict transfer to have them back at Jackson, My daughter in 3rd and my son in 5th...and guess what?! Both teachers contacted me to tell me my children were ONE FULL grade level behind!! It took them all yr, but they finally caught up. & thank goodness too...had my son been kept in TES, I believe he wouldn't be making it in middle school at all. Please, if you can, I advise you send them to another school. Also, while my children were there, I didn't see one progress report. When I went to the school to ask why, to was told they only give progress reports to"failing kids". I couldn't believe it! So I said, "you mean if my children is receiving a D, you wouldn't contact me to let me know?" They said, "correct" This confused me. As my children's other school would contact me via email to let me know if they were nearing a C...just so we can work together on bringing the grade back up. I feel like TES is careless when it comes to the academics of their students.

They really need to think about hiring a new administrative team in the front office. Rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional. I mean who asks a parent if their child " really needs their back pack" when they forgot to bring it with them to school. They give the children attitude when they get there two minutes late and add to the stress of dropping off the children without their supplies. God forbid! Next stop Temecula Valley school district.. Over dealing with these people.

My son attended all grades here at Temecula Elementary School and I was very happy with the caliber of teachers he had and the overall experience we had at this school. I've read some of the other reviews, and the same problems exists at most other elementary schools here in Temecula (traffic issues and emphasis on test scores). I would not have even considered transferring my son to another school as I was extremely happy with the education he was receiving here and I do have high standards when it comes to education (he was my 4th child).

I have 2 children at TES and love just about everything about it. The teachers are dedicated and have the student's education as primary focus. There is constant emphasis on the curriculum and a very strong push to meet the No Child Left Behind goals. Yes, the test scores are not as high as some of the other schools, but this is a very transient school due to the high number of military families and the families that move into and out of our boundary. I highly recommend this school. Note: I am very involved in the school and with PTA and believe that the parents are advocates for their children. GET INVOLVED!
