I am so grateful for this school. Teachers really seem to care for their students. Down the hill at the public high schools my child was just another student bcs faith schools are so inundated with kids. Not here. I feel the the teachers are really vested. Bullying is taken seriously and resolved effectively. Lots of student support. Love this school.

I was a student at Big Bear High, and overall it's a pretty decent school. They really consider themselves a family (Ohana), and the teachers really deeply care for their students. Just a couple things I noticed while attending... very political school. Lots of favoritism and unfair justice, mostly when it comes to sports and other sort of activities. They really focus more on their athletic program instead of their performing art programs. But other than that, the school is very peaceful (very rare to encounter a fight), everyone is very friendly. Overall pretty good school!

I am a student at BBHS. This school is one big family. We call our school a ohana, and that is exactly what we are. I have participated in the cheerleading program for the past 3 years, and i have greatly enjoyed being involved with the school. I am friends with the jocks to the drama students and everyone in between. There are no social barriers in this small school. The teachers are caring, understandable and relatable. I particularly give all my respect to the science teachers. Mrs smith, Mr McClune and Mr. Bradley are 3 teachers that have greatly impacted my life. I highly recommend these teachers! They are the type of teachers to challenge you, and prepare you for college. They use life experiences to teach a lesson instead of a typical book lesson. I absolutely admire these teachers, and EVERY teacher at BBHS. Overall this school is wonderful! ~ we are truly one big family~
