My stepdaughter went to this school for 7th grade. Had an awful experience. Was bullied and nothing was done about it. Sounds like it happens a lot and nothing is done. She said kids are smoking and way too much PDA going on among the kids! Never again will she step foot in that school. Shes lives with us now and was amazed at how different schools can be! Parents be aware.

They are not upfront or transparent. They tend to blame the victims of bullying.

I would not recommend this school as a workplace or to parents. That said, there are few alternatives. If your child says there is a problem, believe them.

My children had no complaints about the school and they were effectively prepared for the next level of learning each year.

They are HQT, passionate, dedicated educators who live in the community and have children who attend the schools.

I can't understand why this school has any high ratings. Coming from another state and a top school district this school doesn't even come close to being good. My son loved his old school and got great grades, he hates this school and his grades tanked. The difference to me is the teachers. The teachers at the other school knew my son and probably all of their students. Here he feels invisible and one teacher even said he was a ghost to him. The teachers are inconsistent in updating the assignments in the online system. One teacher couldn't even explain to me how they determined the grades. The parent-teacher conferences are student lead. I talk to my son everyday about school, I need to know what the teachers think but they don't reach out when there are problems. Luckily for us this is a temporary. And I know my son is learning the art of appreciation and he will love his new school when we move. Until then I'm trying to help him keep up his spirits and self esteem. His grades are coming back up to normal levels with encouragement that this is only temporary.
