A great school for normal kids. But if your student has any neurodiversity, disability, or is different at all, be prepared to fight with administration. They tend to use punishment to deal with children that dont fit their moldwhich doesnt work.

We moved here late last year from Manhattan Beach and My son is just thriving. He is their total communication program and he just adores his teacher and the friends he has made. My son is of special needs, and their program and staff has made the transition from MB seamless and comforting.
This is a wonderful school focusing not only on the children's academia, but their character. Great staff and great location. Very happy with Loma Vista.

Wonderful school. Wonderful staff and a strong PTA. Love the combination of good values, respect, mindfulness and academics they teach. My daughter is happy there and we feel very fortunate to be a part of the Loma Vista family.

They have a death and hard of hearing program with a long time dedicated teacher and small class size. They are inclusive in the education. Children support those with learning differences.

The principal confronts any bullying issues head on and they intervene and work with the kids to reduce/eliminate bullying.

The principal Mrs McMullian is devoted to the children's success. She cares about Social and emotional growth in addition to the academics. She is very community oriented.

Both of my kids have and currently attend Loma Vista and both will tell you they wouldn't want to attend any other school!! The love for teaching that EVERY TEACHER AND SUPPORT STAFF express is amazing! Mrs. McMollen

Loma Vista has been a great school for both of my boys. We have stayed there, even though we moved into another school zone. It is worth the drive. EVERY teacher has been involved, and really cares about the success of their students. This is THE school in the district for hearing impaired as well. Your Kid can learn sign language if they want! LOVE this school.

THIS SCHOOL IS TOP NOTCH! MARLENE MCMULLEN (PRINCIPAL) IS AMAZING. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE TEACHERS. I LOVE THEM ALL. I HAVE 3 DAUGTERS IN GRADES 1,3, AND 5. THERE ARE ONLY A COUPLE TEACHERS WE HAVE NOT HAD BUT I'M SURE THEY ARE WONDERFUL AS WELL. SAFE,LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. TONS OF PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT AND CUSTODIAN JOHN IS THE BEST!
