What a joyful school of inspiring staff and kids!
The music department here is fantastic. Mrs. Furst cares so much about every kid.
The principal, Karen Fussell, is outstanding. She is noble, peaceful and focused.

I cant say enough good things about the school! We have been here for a decade, and I have never felt more supported and welcomed into a community. Mrs. Fussell, the principal, leads the school with Grace and dignity and warmth and kindness. When put in difficult situations, she has always taken the high road, no matter the situation. We adore Miss Marci in the preschool and all of the teachers through eighth grade. We know them all well! and with a child with special needs, they have been more than accommodating and kind and flexible, helping us set goals and supporting us all the way through. I love the school so much and highly recommend it!

This used to be a good school under the old administration. Under the current administration (past three years), it has deteriorated rapidly. Although there are still some great teachers at the school, the curriculum is at best mediocre. It was difficult for me to pull my children from this school where they had friends and familiarity but ultimately, they left me no choice. I wanted my children to have a Catholic education, but I found it unacceptable that we were being lied to by faculty/management. How can they teach the Catholic faith, if they could not live by example? Do your due diligence if you choose this school for your children. If you would like to pay for glorified day care, then this is the school for you.

Negative experience. The preschool needs to be updated and the current instructor needs to retire. I would like to see Miss Dodd take over the preschool at OLA.

Preschool teacher (Director) is very biased when dealing with her students and parents. The teacher talks a good talk but fails to follow what she preaches. The teacher fails to exhibit the compassion, patience, and understanding when it comes to her students or parents. The teachers demeanor can be very rude and unsettling yelling at the children and parents. The teacher lacks good work ethic constantly late not opening the classroom to her students till after 8am. The teacher really needs to consider retirement.

As a parent of a pre-schooler I came to this school with high expectations, being that I, myself had gone through the catholic school system all my life. Unfortunately the pre-school is being run by an elderly women that needs to update her ways of approaching students as well parents. It is unfortunate that this is the first step in the children's education experience and it is presented in such a negative manner. Perhaps if this was a more loving, positive, and learning experience, parents would be more inclined to continue sending their children to OLA through 8th grade. Blessings to all there at OLA!

OLA school has provided an excellent learning environment for my children! I love that my children are spending their days being shaped by Christian values while learning! The parent involvement and sense of community makes this school the best! I love that I get an email everyday with updates of what my children did in class and I can ready the principals blog online! Wonderful school!
