First month here and honestly, it's been the most strangest experience. Very disconnected and I don't think my kids have the emotional support they need. Demographically it's a new experience from them, and just the school in general is not very inviting. I feel like my children are being targeted, the classrooms are too big for the teachers to handle and they need help especially in Kinder. Im always getting an email about their behavior and I think it's because they are not very experienced in dealing with different personalities. Its seems very superficial and money hungry here, and I have never been more dissatisfied with a school then I have been here. For $2500 a month you would think they have some problem solving skills. They do not, I am so disappointed and ready to move them out of here.

My daughter had a bad experience. She told me her classmates laughed at her when she spoke (she has tongue tie that may affect her pronunciation). One parent also approached my daughter after school blaming that my daughter should not punch her daughter. When I asked my daughter what was going on, it is a completely different story. My daughter was bullied by that kid and tried to fight back. I talked to the school that I dont feel safe. The only thing the school did was to tell the other parent not to do this without solving any issue between the girls. Teachers have done nothing at all.

Linfield was the best choice for our kids who have now graduated and gone on to do incredible things in their lives. Over the years I have seen tremendous improvements in areas like quality of teachers, a discipline philosophy rooted in restoration and reconciliation, and school culture just overall is filled with parents who truly love the school. If you are looking for a school that feels more like a family and where your child will be encouraged to pursue their interests and learn how God created them then Linfield really is a great choice!

I am a current student at Linfield. The overall school is very nice. The only thing keeping it from being a five star school is there teaching methods. I didnt have a great experience with my 8th grade history teacher. But overall this is a great school.

Please take a moment to answer the following questions about whether or not you would send your child to this school.
Do you care if your child is receiving instruction from a teacher who understands how to properly teach a lesson, use classroom managements, identify what differentiation techniques to use to help your child be successful? If yes, send your child somewhere else.

Do you care that your child is in an environment that they will be nurtured, and cared for? If yes, send your child somewhere else- well, let me retract a little bit, if you have money, and fit the typical "Linfield Mold" then you'll be included.

Do you care about a positive work environment for the teachers and staff, so that they can have the positive mental health needed to work with your child? If yes, send your child somewhere else- these teachers are overworked, underpaid (seriously, it's insane) and receive little to no support.

If the only reason you are sending your child here is because it's "Christian," then I guess this is the place for you?

Basically, this place is stealing your money. The leadership here is all surface, but when you get to the heart of what a school should be- you know, education, a place where kids can grow, develop, learn new skills,- this place is not it. Everything they do looks good on paper, but it is not something that is actually done each day in the classroom. Further, there is no accountability for this place. The parents (who are paying) need to ask more questions about what this place is using its money on, how academic achievement is taking place, who are the people teaching, and how are they supporting the students.

Don't just send your student here because it's "Christian."

Linfield was the best decision we could have made for our two children. The relationships with their teachers was such a welcomed surprise after our experience in public school. I watched teachers champion them, encourage them, pray for them, and lift them up. It is such a unique school filled with fun and meaningful traditions and it gets to be done in the most beautiful atmosphere. Both of my children were very well prepared for life and my daughter was able to enter her freshman year of college and take a sophomore level course because of the Biomed program she took at Linfield, she was already that far ahead! Truly, this school is worth every penny and we can't thank this school enough for how they poured into our kids and us as parents. God's hand is truly evident over this place!

Please don't send your children to this school. They claim to offer a high quality education, but the reality is that they spend a lot of money making the campus look aesthetically pleasing along with spending too much on advertising. They claim to offer a variety of extracurricular activities, but not without an additional fee. Their "Why Linfield?" statement is a joke. There is no mention of the curriculum they offer, which is a shame. Their statement should elaborate on the various ways they will make your child ready for college and for life, in my opinion. When I enrolled my children, I was caught up in the excitement of my kids attending a 'good' school, so I didn't bother to ask the important questions related to math, science, and ELA. The materials they are using to teach those subjects are severely outdated. I would have known, if I bothered to ask. After being there and witnessing all the confusion and chaos, I deeply regret not doing my research prior. In retrospect, I wish I would have used the money to hire quality teachers that possess actual teaching credentials or a doctorate degree (since that's the caliber of education they claim to provide); teachers devoted to challenging my children and focused on preparing them for success. Over time, I discovered that many of the teachers lacked teaching credentials, lacked teaching experience, or were tossed in a grade they weren't qualified to teach. I personally spoke to one teacher that was unable to get hired in a public school, but the lack of Linfield's requirements, made it easy to get a job there, for a significant decrease in pay. When teachers are underpaid and not valued, what kind of education do you think they will provide your child? My friend's son had a fifth grade teacher that was previously a kindergarten special needs teacher and taught ten years prior, but was assigned a fifth grade class. She never taught fifth grade prior to this year!!! My friend told me her son was not prepared to enter middle school because he couldn't write a five-paragraph essay and severely struggled in math, history, and science. Homework was rarely brought home. We did get 25 spelling words that never seemed to be tied to any of the lessons or the reading books. We never got any report cards. In the beginning, we had a parent conference where we were assured they were doing great, but I wasn't convinced any progress was being made.
There is SO MUCH MORE, but I'm running out of space. ASK QUESTIONS!!!

Teachers assign way too much homework. Students often spend 6-8 a night on homework (Including weekends). This makes it difficult for students to participate in extracurriculars or get an adequate amount of sleep. Students are overworked.

This is the best middle and high school in the entire Temecula Valley area. The staff and faculty truly care about the students and their success. Our child has learned wonderful leadership skills that will be transferable to college. This is the only middle school that could challenge him positively in academics (allowing him to take high school classes in 8th grade which was easy having the campuses next to each other). High school continues to stretch his thinking and learning. Bullying, drugs, and illicit activity are dealt with swiftly and privately. Its a safe school.

My review is from a unique perspective, hopefully it is helpful as you consider local schools. This is our first year at Linfield Christian School. Today my children begin their second week of classes at Linfield. Though I do not have a long history of experiences yet, I will update this review if I find anything concerning in the days ahead.

After the first day of classes my children felt loved, accepted and confident at Linfield!

Before school started, I was very concerned for my daughter who was starting middle school. I remember all too well how tough it can be for girls to make friends in middle school. But on her first day, and every day since, she came home so happy! She made new friends and everyone accepted her and was so kind! My elementary student also did not know anyone, and when I asked how her first day was, she responded, "FUN!" I cannot tell you how thankful I am for Linfield and this opportunity to have our children at a Christian school where they are truly cared about.

Be aware that this school is hardcore Christian. There is quite a lot of praying and the chapel services (for middle school) were usually quite boring.
There is not a lot of homework. Sometimes the teachers assign essays, and the math homework is usually online.
Most of the people here are super kind. I made the most incredible friends when I went here.
The teachers really dont do anything for bullying and the principals are not incredible either. When a friend and I reported bullying, the teacher we told simply said, Ill keep my eye on it.
The teachers, overall, are amazing.
I recommend this school. Go Lions!

Bullying exists at the high school level and the teachers do nothing about it. Really sad, if the Administration would get involved that would be helpful. I highly suggest looking around when looking at Private education. For the cost this school is very disappointing.

This is our third year at LCS and we couldn't be happier. The elementary school is great, the middle school is awesome and I hear the high school is even better. We love the after-school activities too. The performing arts and sports programs are very good. Our kids are thriving at this school.

I am a proud alumni of Linfield Christian School. As a college preparatory school, they maintain their academic rigor while seamlessly integrating a Christ-centered viewpoint. Something I loved as a student is that people of all faith backgrounds are accepted and loved and able to be talked about in a respectful manner. I graduated Linfield with a good GPA and got into the college of my dreams. The standard of academics at Linfield was so high, that many of my college courses were a walk in the park. Linfield prepared me so thoroughly for college, which made way for me to participate in more extra curriculars. By far, my favorite aspect of being a student at Linfield were the teachers. They genuinely care about every student and make it a point to not only invest in their academics, but in their personal lives as well. I had teachers who invested in me well after my graduation date. I am so thankful to have had the privilege to attend Linfield, and someday hope to send my own children there. Go Lions!!

While most parents care about how well the leadership can take care of the mean kids, my experience was more about how they dealt with my problemed child (ADD and poor attendance issues). Rather than yell at my child for a long list of missing assignments, they paired by student with a Behavior Specialist on campus with an open door policy, who listened to her and helped her overcome. Their approach had me wide-eyed because it really helped her, though is took some time.

I will speak to the ADD issues I'm familiar with. They have one site that ALL teachers in middle school use for homework assignments. I found it to be extremely helpful for the ADD student. Our previous school had weebly sites, one for each teacher, and some teachers didn't bother using it or using it regularly. Also the block system that Linfield uses in middle school and high school is helpful in that classes are every other day, so homework is each class isn't due to two days. They are very organized at Linfield, so getting info or knowing where to get it isn't a challenge.

I don't know how to answer this because while my son was bullied because he wasn't athletic (and yet was on a team), I didn't go to the school about it. If my son had an inability to handle it, I would have, but he did ok. I've heard from some parents that their child is not liked, they've been excluded from party invites, etc. I think it's a typical middle school experience.

We are middle school parents and I have heard from parents that have been at the school longer that Elementary wasn't impressive, and I read that here too in the reviews. YET, when our oldest promoted to high school, at the ceremony nearly half the students were recognized for being in the 85-percentile on standardized testing and having a 3.5 GPA for their ENTIRE middle school career. If that doesn't tell you that these kids came in prepared, I don't know what can.

I'm paying for tuition, so I'm picky. I love all the teachers. They are all strong academically, yet loving to their students. We've been to four schools over the last 8 years, and Linfield stands out as the best, hands down. My sister's kids went to a magnet school in Fullerton (Troy HS). I wanted that kind of education for my kids, but we didn't live the Great Oak (IB school) boundaries. Turns out Linfield High School has Engineering and BioMedical tracts, and even higher level academies of the same that provide students the same kind of experience. And in middle school, their electives can include these types of classes, as well. My kids loved their Medical Detectives and STEAM classes the most. Oh wait, come to think of it, Science & History, came in a close second. And they never complained about Math or Language Arts. My kids loved going to middle school.

Yes, of course, they teach these things. But this is tough because so many kids from supposed Christian households don't seem to be concerned with their language on campus (and I'm referring to them say OMG at the drop of a hat, and not abbreviated) or abiding by the dress code (the girls nearly all where off-the-shelf tight pants rather than the pleated, more uniform type). So far it doesn't appear that the school makes much of an effort to clamp down on this. That said, I have randomly shown up on campus and have been cheerfully greeted by helpful students willing to point me in the right direction, and politely, to boot.

This is one are where a negative is not a bad thing. Linfield makes it very clear they are there for the "normal" student. When I say normal I mean everyone but geniuses and special ed. They will work with all range of normal students, but only withing the Linfield model.

Homework, at least in Elementary school (gr 1-5) is typically done via multi page "packets" which are repetitious, at best. Often it's more about "grinding" them out then learning. It's not effective. However most of the teachers are very understanding when "real life" crops up and makes an assignment unable to be turned in on time, which is a huge plus.

Like many Christian schools, Linfield does not pay well, compared to public schools. So, you have 2 breeds of teachers. Those who do it for Christ, and then those who couldn't realistically hack it in a public school, where they have performance assessments and standards. We have had teachers who were so incredible (K, 4 & 5) that we felt blessed beyond measure, and ones that were so bad we wound up having to supplement the education at home (Spanish, Tech, 1)

This is Linfield's strongest area of failure. There simply is no overall leadership. There is a Head of School and a board, with each campus being run by a Principal. Great idea in theory, but what you have in reality is each campus with little to no accountability to each other (i.e. the transition from Elementary to Middle is universally regarded as a travesty because of the vast difference in how each campus runs). Added to that, with no campus spiritual leadership or accountability, each classroom and campus is left to drift, which often results in people having to step up and provide spiritual guidance that they are not equipped to provide. And as with almost all private schools, when push comes to shove, maintaining enrollment wins out over all other concerns.

I went with 3 stars for the simple reason that our first 3 years at Linfield were a 5 star wonderland. Our last 2 were simply awful. We were almost exclusively at the Elementary campus so I can only really speak for there. During our first 3 years, the campus was a loving, wonderful, tight knit environment where our kids were truly cherished. As parents, we were often invited onto campus to be a part of daily life, as well as for the "big stuff". It was truly wonderful and we cherished every moment. As a result of some staffing changes, the new atmosphere at the campus is almost prison like. The Elementary school principal (Washburn) is simply awful and her lack of leadership has wrecked 40 years of progress in about 18 months. It is simply her way or the highway. And her way is almost always clearly and incomprehensibly wrong to everyone but her. And rather then exercise leadership, the board and administration just patiently double down on what is clearly a bad investment. The atmosphere of the school is now worse then the public schools I have visited. The spiritual compass of that campus is gone and teacher innovation and freedom is severely curtailed. It is one of the saddest transitions I have ever seen. Academically, we found the campus average. Our children were within the same range as their public school, and other private school friends for the most part. So, I've always scratched my head whenever I heard praise about Linfield's academic "rigor". For us, environment and atmosphere were the real drivers of our choice of Linfiled. Ultimately, we have made the painful decision to take our children out of Linfield to an environment that is more in-line with our educational and spiritual needs. .

Parents, teachers and staff all socializing with each other, including Facebook friends. Favors, clicks and parent bullying. Where is the professional boundaries? The school is a hypocrisy to the Christian faith and walk. I should not have to explain the contradiction to what my children experience at a Christian school. Bullying, and disrespect tolerated on the playground and classroom. There is no presence of spiritual leadership, only endless examples of compromise and favors. Now we homeschool our children and hope to inform others of the reality Linfield tries so hard to hide. Christian families should not have to compromise their faith and expose their children to the contradictions of this school.

Disappointing to hear a parent say, "I'm meeting with the teacher about homework. It's just far too much. I know she will change it, because I've complained about it before with another teacher and she changed it."
So the take away is a parent has the power to change homework??
And for those of us who feel it is appropriate??
My child's homework is reduced because standards have been lowered again to a lower learner. Higher learners are penalized in this system.
Academic excellence....I think not.

We knew Linfield was academically tough, but we had a student athlete that wanted to play competitive sports at a high level so they could compete at the NEXT level. We found that with Linfield football winning their league & competing in the CIF Championship game, as well as other top notch competitive sports such as softball & baseball that look to be headed to CIF TOURNAMENT play.

Linfield is in a class of its own when it comes to education in Temecula. There is not a more devoted set of administrator, faculty, and staff in the valley. In recent years Linfield has stepped up their game in the variety of programs they offer, the facilities included on campus, and enhanced their curriculum to keep it challenging and to better prepare students for their endeavors after graduation. I know many were concerned about changes in administration but take a walk on campus and see all the recent improvements and you will realize the amazing work they are doing. Take it from someone who evaluated all the options for before choosing Linfield, you will not be disappointed with the investment you make in your child's education at Linfield.

After some research of school choices in Temecula, I have learned a lot about Linfield. First, their teachers are quality intellectuals . Also, the people that work there have a genuine concern for academics and the spirituality of each student and staff member.
I appreciate and value the fact that they continue to strive to keep their reputation stellar.

Linfield lacks a high quality education. The foundation is poor and masked by colorful marketing/activities. However, once you compare what other schools are reading and writing you will quickly see that learning opportunities are taken away from your child. It's unfortunate because children can learn like a sponge at this age. Linfield needs higher expectations for the children and adequate resources to help them learn a solid foundation. Many times, classwork and the homework is graded incorrectly. Homework that is not completed goes into a disappearing bin. This fosters bad habits. Books are not encourage to come home to study due to a lack of interest in the majority. That practice is not reality when your child needs to compete at an academic level in higher arenas. By then it will be too late to catch up. The Elementary School is not equipped to handle matters in a professional protocol, which causes distress for families; which means issues that arise are not handled in a serious concern.

If your not a top donor parent or play the political game your child will be labeled something they are not. The administration would rather run a political game with your children and make the "top" parents happy instead of having the best interest of your child. I would look elsewhere for a Godly education.

My children attend Linfield and have for many years. We loved everything about Linfield. We are sadden to say it's not what it used to be. Big changes have been going on this year with upper admin. Changes that seem to be taken away Linfields core christian values. Teachers and long term staff are leaving. Young new teachers who Never taught are replacing them. My children went from loving the school to not liking it at all. The things we have seen and heard from students and staff are not what this school used to be about.

We are currently at Linfield Elementary and love the school! Our daughter started there in kinder. The school is not prefect and there have been bumps in the road, but we have always appreciated how the school administration has worked with us to reach the best outcome for our child. They are Christ-centered and we believe they truly care about our family. The teachers give so much love to the students and work very hard to do what's best for each child. We are thankful to be able to have our child at Linfield.

I am a parent of three elementary school age children. We have attended Linfield Christian School for the past 6 years. From day 1 I was impressed with the genuine love & encouragement the staff gives to each and every child. The teachers know the children by name and not only the kids in their class. I was floored when the principal came up to me one day when I was a new parent and asked how my sick daughter was feeling. My daughter was eight months old at the time and the principal already knew her BY NAME! That same daughter is now 5 years old and in the Jr. Kindergarten class. I LOVE her teachers! I consider their Jr. K program to be a half-step in between Pre-K and Kinder. It is the perfect balance of learning and fun that my little girl needs to thrive. In addition to math & letters, she builds her confidence through cooking, spanish, sign language, and music. I couldn't dream of a better school for my shy and apprehensive little girl. In this environment, she is learning to trust her instincts and others, to speak her needs, and to bond with others. I encourage you to take a tour and see for yourself.

This school was the best in the valley 15 years ago. A poorly appointed upper administration is sending it on a downward trend. Their board needs to step up and look at their attrition rates for both students and faculty. Please return this school to the traditions and excellence it was founded on. It is such a shame to watch. We have been gone for awhile, and I am certain if I had yet another school age child I would look elsewhere now.

Linfield is a wonderful, caring school. Like any other place, there are imperfections, but the faculty and staff truly care for your child. They all stay late into the night preparing, grading, and working to make your child successful. You can tell that there is a genuine love for God and others. Another benefit is that they receive Spanish, computer time, art, science lab, performing arts, PE with a coach, library and band. It's amazing that in this day and age we are able to have our kids get a rounded education!

We have attended LCS for several years and last year was our last. LCS pride themselves on being a christian school but lack the characteristics of a christian. If your child is having a behavioral issue they are likely to work with you if you hold a position at the school or if your a teachers favorite. We've been a family for several years at LCS and this is my observation and experiences year after year. When this started to affect my child, personally, is when I had enough!! It's my prayer that LCS will grow more spiritually and practice what's being preached. LCS has lacked in quality of teachers since some have retired and or moved on. My child was bullied by a student but due to his mother's relationship with the teacher, his bullying was over looked. Leadership by the Principal is awful! My child was accused of hitting a new child at school during recess. The student punched my child in her stomach and then told the Principal that she had been hit. The Principal spoke with the children. She believed the new student and punished my child. Thank God for Watch Dog Dad that stepped up for my child. She never apologized, just made excuses as to why she did what she did.

Several very young teachers working at Linfield who look like they just graduated. Administration spoke highly on the teacher s long term tenure w/little to no turnover lie#1. They boasted about small class sizes, the first grade classes are the same size as public school lie#2. I've been disappointed so far w/Linfield, my daughter has 1 of the new teachers who looks like she just graduated from college and has never taught before. She has a large class size with tons of active first graders a train-wreck ready to happen. When I picked my child up from class the teacher appeared stressedout, confused like she didn't no what she was doing. The kids were screaming, yelling totally out of control. I worry about my children s education It s ridiculous to pay Linfield tons of money for it's reputation of being a prestigious Christian school offering a rigorist, superior preparatory academic approach to learning if this is any indications of their advance learning approach were doomed. It s disheartening to think by the end of the school year my kids are going to be far behind kids in public school they won t be able to compete on an academic level and I ll be out thousands of dollars.

I want to put a face to the parents and Children at this school. I want you to keep in mind Linfield is a business and if you have a problem you stay quiet because if you don't follow the rules these parent will destroy you as we'll as your Child. I am just trying to protect parents and the ones they love your child. This school is the wizard of oz pull back the curtain and most of the top parent run that campus. IF someone from admin pretends to be your friend it's not a real. friendship they are just trying to pull information the student body's fights among the parents. READ this My son went to transport to Childrens on that same day Parents that I thought loved my family parents never came just to give a hug. I had watched other Parents leave just gone. I could not figure out why now I Do. Ask questions who will be my child's coach in flag football not staff all the parents who pay attend.The first time I saw my child crumble was at Christian school with that being said if you are willing to believe. Check what is not fluff get the hard facts. Parents teach sports ask yourself research and say you don't want to see a portfolio child. My child went in with faith left without!

Rather then "rate the school", let me tell you one of my first experiences on Linfield's Elementary campus. I was walking in, a bit early, to pick up my son and saw some boys playing soccer. The age range was what looked like 1st graders all the way up to the 5th graders, which surprised me. I watched as one of the 5th graders teed up to smash a monster goal, where a 1st grader was playing goalie. As he kicked the ball, one of the other 5th graders on that same team knocked the ball out of the air and said "dude, he's just a little guy, you have to take it easy". As if that wasn't surprising enough, the 5th grader who kicked the ball then went over and apologized to the young goalie. Then the game continued. I was floored. Where I went to school, we used the younger kids for target practice. What I have since come to learn about Linfield, after 3 years there, is that scene is not remarkable. It happens in various forms all day long and is a product of a school culture where they really do care and foster that in the students. Now THAT is remarkable. Is Linfield perfect? No. Is is the perfect place for our son? Yep. Come for a tour & see for yourself. :)

I love this school. My daughter started going to Linfield in Middle School. She loves it. She has been extremely challenged in the academics area. She has no regular High School pressures. The staff is amazing. They found a tuition fee that I could afford. I am currently enrolling all of my daughters in this school. I would recommend this school to everyone. They lead your children in the right direction.

LCS is a top notch! My youngest son has been attending Linfield for six years now. Since my older kids attended a large Christian school out of the area (K-12), I have something to use as comparison. The teachers here are simply, the best. The guidance, the individual attention, the desire for EACH child to grow in God and in their learning, is beyond words. I volunteer in the classroom each week, and I am truly amazed and blessed to watch the interactions of teacher and students. It brings me such joy to witness and I am so thankful to be allowed to (I have never heard of nor seen a school like ours, with so many parent volunteers involved and on campus). In addition to academics that is above all others, our school has specialty classes that all elementary students attend (Spanish/Art/Performing Arts/Technology/Library/P.E). We also have weekly chapels with guest speakers that help to inspire growing hearts. To sum it up, the teachers, the staff, the principals, and the school as a whole, values the relationship of each child and the families. LCS has proved to be fully committed to sharing the love of God while preparing my son for an academic future in a college of his choice.

BEST SCHOOL!! My son has attended Linfield for two years now. He has grown so much spiritually,academically, and socially! The teachers are amazing! They love the children and go above and beyond to educate their students! We are blessed to be part of the Linfield family!!

Linfield is a truly incredible school that I was blessed to attend. As an alum, I have a unique perspective than parents and current students. What I loved about Linfield was that it was academically challenging, spiritually motivating, and provided every extra-curricular activity imaginable, while still being a small school that focused on each student. During my time at Linfield I was ASB President, a Student Ambassador, involved with Interact club and the student newspaper, an AP student, and part of the tennis team. Due to it's smaller size, I was able to have a wholly complete high school experience that I could not have had elsewhere. The academics are rigorous and prepared me well for Hillsdale College (96/100 academic rigor ranking by Princeton Review). The Bible department taught me to know what I believed and why and encouraged me in my walk. With my various and extensive campus involvement, I learned the key to balancing my studies with other leadership commitments. However, what sets Linfield apart from other schools more than anything is the people. The faculty and staff invest in students beyond the classroom and become mentors and role models long past graduation.

There needs to be drastic change in leadership at the elementary school. We sent our children to this school to receive a Christain education leading in academics as well Reinforcing christain values. . We felt it was a compromise on both our values as christains and academic education. We will not be returning to this school. It is sad to see how many families sacrifice so much financially to attend this school. The classes are disruptive and the teachers spend a lot of time gossiping. Very sad.

Linfield describes in their website that they are a college preparatory school that helps your child go to the top colleges in the nation.Before going any further, look at the college acceptance rate that their students go to. There were no students attending the top Ivy Leagues which includes; Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. If you are wondering why students are not being able to attend these universities, it is because of the low academic standards Linfield sets for their students. Teachers have too much grace on students, (since this is a christian school) and do not teach accountability. Honor classes are not offered, and there isn't even an ASB program. There are many disruptive students in the class which prevent other kids from learning. Teachers would even join the conversations.The administration office may seem nice at first, until you enroll into the school for a few months. After they get your money, they will not care what you want for your child, unless you are staff/faculty. If you want your child to attend a community college, this is what Linfield sets you up for. You would have a much better education at public school in Temecula than here.

This is an amazing school. I drive 2 hours daily to have my child at an academically-rigorous school with many sports and extracurricular opportunities where the teachers and faculty are sincere Christians- it is worth it! There are SOME kids who are bullies but I have never been in an environment with many children where there aren't. Part of school is for children to learn how to handle social situations & get help when needed. The teachers & staff here WILL help! They are loving & supportive, treating parents & students like family. We are not "parents with deep pockets" & have never felt like we are treated as less than those who are. Everyone is treated like family. There is no tolerance for not paying your tuition as agreed in your contract. We save a year in advance to make sure we can afford the next year. The extracuriccular opportunities at Linfield can't be beat. In Jr. K (a great Kinder prep program) my son learned ASL, genres of art, & great science units along with the expected academics. In elementary school, students regularly study Spanish, music, art, & technology. After school, there are opportunities for sports camps, drama, robotics, & ASL.

I have been attending Linfield for 5 years going on 6 now, I was bullied for 4 of the years that I was there, by the same girls each year, I use to come home crying because of how mean they were to me. The bullying stopped 2 years ago, ever since the bullying stopped, I've really been enjoying Linfield. It's not a perfect school but I'm sure that it can improve, like the parent cliques, one of the parents made me cry. I would and wouldn't consider Linfield because of what I've been through but I love the teachers, they're all so nice!!! I would say don't go to Linfield if you want your kid to cry, of course not many kids ever get bullied, as far as I know there aren't any kids being bullied at the school. If you do send your kid to school there they'll get a good education, and don't forget good friends :) I hope this is helpful for parents who are deciding to send their kid to Linfield or not :) :D

Our children and family have been truly blessed by Linfield Christian School. Our children have attended Linfield for the past eight years. We have children on the Elementary, Middle and High School Campuses. The Linfield coaches and teachers truly care for the children. The children have opportunities for Outreach such as Mexico, Haiti or Feed My Starving Children. The Band and Drama Department are the best in the Valley. The size of Linfield allows for full participation in all sports. Lacrosse is now at Linfield and our youngest started last week. The fact that Linfield is a College Preparatory School has always been important to us! Our children will be well prepared for college. Most of all we love that they receive Biblical teaching everyday! Thank you Linfield!

I have an 8th grade student who just started Linfield. We have been so impressed with the quality of education and the spiritual atmosphere there that we will be moving the rest of our kids over next year. I have personally taught in both private and public schools. I can honestly say that nothing comes close to comparing to what Linfield has to offer. They have been around for 70 plus years and are like a well oiled machine. The faculty and staff have been so incredibly attentive and loving to my son. In my experience many of the Christian school curriculums are lacking. While they are great with tying scripture to academics they lack in teaching kids to think critically. Linfield has found a way to do both! My son was welcomed to Linfield and made friends easily. He loves it and is so glad he made the move! As far as cliques, we have not noticed a problem. But kids are kids and there are going to be social issues no matter what school you choose. No school is perfect but I feel confident that my kids will leave Linfield well prepared for a great future. I am excited that we finally found a school where I know my kids are growing BOTH spiritually and academically.

We started middle school at Linfield this year after elementary school at a public school. Our son went into the school not knowing anyone and has had a wonderful experience. The teachers have been incredibly responsive and available and he has made lots of friends. The parent orientation was terrific. I simply loved the message of loving these middle-schoolers through what can be a tricky time to navigate. I run my own business, so I don't have the time to hang out on the campus, but when I have been by, the moms have been very kind. Is there a school out there without a clique of moms? I think its know as the PTA in public school... ;) My son is thriving there right now- so I'm basing my review on that fact.
