Options is AMAZING. My boys love it. My oldest has been going for a few years now, and my youngest began first grade this year. I cant imagine them going anywhere else, they have so much fun every Friday. The teachers and staff are friendly and understanding, you can tell they really care for the kids. Its an enrichment school, and honestly, if you bring your kids here, they would love it. Its starting to get a little more diverse, which is pretty cool. However, I notice in CO, not a lot of Mexican or black families homeschool, so its nice to see a change this year, as I am a young Mexican (low income) mama. :) Take your kids here, theyll love it.

First off, there are many different Options schools in the district. My child has attending the one in Brighton for the past 2 years. For the most part, we really love this school. It's one day a week. It gives us the opportunity to do classes that are harder for us to do in our homeschooling - like PE for group sports, and drama. Most of the teachers are great. In lower grades, there is very little homework. In upper grades, there can be a great deal of homework, but the students get a week to do it all in. I love the low student/teacher ratio. I wish that they could help with special education issues, but I understand the funding just isn't there. Overall, we really like this school.
