I searched for months for a school I felt comfortable sending my 3 year old to learn and be safe. After visiting 7 other childcare facilities in the area, I chose this school! This was his first time being in a childcare setting and I wanted to make sure that not only did I trust that he would be cared for, but he would also be taught the fundamentals to give him a solid foundation in education. We were able to get it all at this school. My then 3 year old is now 5 and about to graduate from Kindergarten where he received one-on-one teaching and attention, which was tailored to where he is intellectually and emotionally. Now my 2 year old is there and making leaps and bounds developmentally with their curriculum and support. I will forever recommend this school, because they allow for the parents to also reinforce the strengths and improve on the student's weaknesses via homework, progress reports, and frequent updates.

As a parent utilizing a school during a pandemic, I think it's important to know that MSA is taking numerous safety measures and they have communicated their plan with parents each step of the way. We are repeat customers of MSA and have strongly recommended them to our friends and family. We do not live near MSA, but knowing that our child is handled with care & compassion and armed with knowledge and respect for others is well worth the drive. We also LOVE the diversity of the staff and school. Our 1st child was extremely well prepared for primary school and I am fully confident that our 2nd child will also be well prepared. Thank you MSA!

Our 3 boys attended MSA over a period of 4 years. From Toddler 1 to Kindergarten. MSA was their second home and there is no other place I would have them. The warm feeling starts at the front door when you are greeted by the wonderful staff that has been around for years. In the classrooms the teachers and the TA's were always professional , friendly and affectionate with all our kids. They knew them very well and embracced them as individuals and guided them year after year. They learned a great deal in the Montessori model, academically and socially. The beauty of Montessori is how children learn to be independent, confident , self aware and responsible at an early age. We are forever grateful for all that MSA has instilled in our children and the friendships we developed over the years with parents and staff. I would recommend MSA to anyone who wants their kids to be in a safe, nurturing environment, where they can learn and be happy- they will inevitably thrive!

My daughter was In this school for 3 years first 2 years grate teacher experience with the last teacher bad experience doesn’t have patients for kids not recommended if you kid has special needs They don’t have patience with kids the director has a bad attitude with parents she wants to only looks out for her staff but not for the children best interest they need to get teachers that have patience with kids and are Committed

All three of our kids attended the Montessori School of Aurora for three years each and we loved it. Our youngest son just left MSA and we are sad to leave! Our oldest kids are now 12 and 11 and we feel that they were well prepared for elementary school. We really appreciated the diversity of the students at the school, and the staff, who are amazing, became like family to us. We highly recommend MSA!

Our daughter started at MSA when she was three and went through the kindergarten program. Although I wouldn't have described her as an independent student, she has thrived in the more independent environment. She gets excited about writing in her journal, her reading has improved beyond my expectations and at the end of the year she even completed a science project complete with poster and presentation to the class. They uncovered her potential and for that I'm eternally grateful.

We have had the pleasure of being part of the Montessori School of Aurora family for over 10 years. All 3 of our children have attended MSA, our oldest is now 12 and our youngest is still attending at the age of 5 1/2. MSA has provided our children with a solid foundation and a love of learning. Our children have experienced diverse cultures, been exposed to concepts of global citizenship, been academically challenged, and nurtured through their years at MSA. The teaching staff is AMAZING!!! The same teachers that taught my oldest son are still at MSA which provides an amazing continuity for our family. The teachers are loving, supportive and are incredibly in tune to the individual needs of their students (Ms. Cucqui, Ms. Dee and Ms Amanda are the best!!!). Our family has gone through personal loss in the last year and the love, support and care that we received from MSA as we coped with things was incredible. They supported my daughter through the loss of her grandmother, were there for our family in numerous ways from bringing food, attending services and just taking care of our children when they needed it most. When we first decided to put our children in day care 10 years ago, we visited numerous facilities and are so blessed that we chose MSA right from the start. This school is a family owned operation which shows in their flexible approach, the stability and experience of their staff and teachers, and the tremendous growth and academic advancement of their students. My children have learned so much at MSA and my older boys still love to visit and catch up with their old teachers. All 3 of my children went on to kindergarten at a public school after attending MSA for 3 years and were all academically advanced and extremely well prepared for kindergarten. They were all able to read (simple books) by the time they left MSA, doing simple math and were quickly placed into the highest academic groupings in public school. While we are involved parents, we never had to do extra work with our kids, MSA made sure that our children were challenged and supported at their own level to ensure that they grew academically. We highly recommend this school for any families who truly want a nurturing and supportive experience in their children's early childhood development. Thank you MSA for everything you have done for our family, we are so sad that this year will be our last with you, but we hope to continue to visit in the future!

My daughter started here in the toddler room and all the way to kindergarten. She loved it here and the teachers were amazing they took care of her really well and taught her alot. I had nothing to worry about. They always informed me if something had gone wrong and if my daughter was not feeling well they would take care of it. She loved going to school everyday. As a parent i am very satisfied with the way my daughter was taken care of. i wish this would have gone to a high grade level, because i would have loved to keep her there.

Our son was a student at MSA for 2 years, through the Kindergarten program. In that time,, his academic fundamentals were developed to a point well beyond our expectations. The variety of subject matter he was given to learn was widely diversified, also emphasizing a focus on the student's own initiative to gain as much as possible from the coursework. Every member of the staff should be recognized for their unfailing courtesy while providing such an enriching environment for their students. If we could keep our son enrolled in this school beyond Kindergarten, we would not hesitate to do so.

My husband and I are thankful for Ms Lori's leadership. Everyone we interact with at MSA are stellar! We were reflecting the other day about when we first brought our son to MSA. Ms Shawn truly made us feel like family and after meeting her we knew that MSA was the school we needed to send our son to! Not only send him to, but pick up our family and move to this side of town just so he could attend. The quality of education taught here is superb and we continue to see our children grow and gain the confidence they need to thrive.

My kids attended this school and my eldest went to their kindergarten program. I was naive and bought into their philosophy that montessori would be better than Cherry Creek Schools. Boy was I wrong!! My child's teacher left in the middle of the year- she was unprofessional and seemed like she hated her job. She was a terrible teacher especially considering we were paying almost $1000 per month for Kindergarten tuition. Kindergarten homework consisted of photocopied sheets from work books, not thoughtful and meaningful Montessori homework. I could have bought the workbook myself for $10!! Furthermore when my child got to Cherry Creek 1st grade she wasn't the most advanced in her class as the Montessori made be believe she would be. If a child is smart and has parents dedicated to their education they can excel at any school they go too. Don't waste your money on a mediocre education!! Cherry Creek preschools have only 15 kids per class and 3 teachers- can't get better than that. I hope my review stays up and doesn't get removed by the owner of the school as previous parents have said.

Two of my sons attended here 2007-2009; and 2011-2014. School embraces gifted kids, exposure to higher academics on daily basis. My sons & family are members of Mensa & also Intertel (high IQ societies) & my sons required accelerated curriculum. My sons (thx to Montessori) read books, did math sheets like reading bar charts, addition/ subtraction, & fractions. Geography & cultures were also studied. Not every kid 4 year old is advanced but at least they support the kids who are! School utilizes loving approach w/ patience when dealing with my high intensity kids (extremely talkative, non-stop questions, high energy & emotions). From Montessori they were accepted at Challenge School due to their IQ test scores but also b/c Montessori helped them reach advanced levels academically. School gives detailed, SPECIFICALLY written academic/ social progress reports every few months so I could see their proficiency scores in various domains. I m highly satisfied w/ staff, academics, cleanliness, excellence in Owner leadership, & with provision of fun filled days (field trips, swimming, dance, art, music intro). I appreciate Owner of school who supported my son s needs to best of her ability.

My children went to this school for 4 years. There are 2 loving head teachers who have been at the school for a long time. The other staff seems to come and go and some are very young and not very professional. Some kids are able to learn however the classrooms are very full in general. There is typically 1 teacher to 10 children ratio and close to 30 children in each class. Despite being a nut free facility they don't really watch for kids who have food allergies and mix ups happen frequently. The schools biggest downfall is it's owner. She can be very rude to parents and is not professional. She is involved in the day to day affairs of the school so all parents have to deal with her at some point. She manages to get most negative reviews of the school removed quickly- I hope Great schools keeps my review up, everything I have said is true. I have reciepts showing my kids attended the school.

We have been associated with the school for about 8 yrs now and have had a wonderful experience overall. When we picked the school yrs ago for our son, we liked it right away for 1) the toddler room looked and smelled clean 2) there were a number of activities for the kids to participate. It was not a typical day care atmosphere and we were right! And so after 4 yrs, we joined our daughter as well. We have only positive things to say about the school. The teachers and staff have been wonderful, always around to help and discuss issues about parenting :) There is the right balance of discipline and indulgence in the classroom. The kids got the right foundation and were well prepared for Kindergarten.They offer year round school activities - Art, Music etc. My daughter absolutely adores her teachers and loves to go school. That in a way says it all! We will recommend the school in a heartbeat over any other "montessori" schools in the area.

My daughter was in this school for few month and she was miserable. She hated coming to school and it was a struggle for me to convince her. Instead of progressing she started falling back in everything. Apart from all this MSA is not an Aunthetic Montessori School. The owne is very rude and not helpful at all. I pulled my child out immediately!! I wouldnt recommend this school to anyone. HORRIBLE experience.

My kids have been at Montessori School of Aurora for several years between the two of them. Both got accepted into one of the best elementary schools in the state where it is required to have high academic marks to get in. Ms Mindy is the best teacher. She nurtures the kids, teaches them a lot, and does really neat science experiments to keep them interested and engaged. This school has a lot of outside activity so the kids aren't bored. No nuts are allowed which is a little annoying but I understand that lots of people have severe allergies to them. Ms Shawn is a great and very friendly directress. We will miss all the great people at this school since we are "graduating". Like most Montessori schools around here they only go up to Kindergarten. Our experience has been great. I highly recommend this school for anyone with young kids. They are slightly less expensive than other places and I think they give a better education and experience.

My daughter attends MSA and we could not be happier--neither could she! I am an elementary school teacher and have visited and tried several other centers but weren't happy with the care. Montessori of Aurora gives my daughter a sense of care, community, trust, and a top notch education. The teachers take a genuine interest in my child and are great about communicating with me as well.

My wife and I have a five year old girl and a three year old boy. We did the 'daycare shuffle' for a few years, trying to find a facility that met our high expectations. We had our children in three different day care facilities over that time period, and visited several other ones prior to Montessori. We could not have been more pleased with Montessori. Our oldest child just finished the kindergarten program. This was her second year here and she has learned so much during this time. My three year old just completed the toddler room and will start the three to five year old room next fall. One issue I have with the majority of day care facilities is that a lot of the 'teachers' are just collecting pay checks, and view their very important positions as just a job. All of the teachers at Montessori are very professional and have been trained in the Montessori method. You can tell that it is a more than a 'job' for them. The administrators are very helpful and effective. They also communicate and collaborate well with the parents. My children love their school, teachers, and friends. I would highly recommend this school for your child.

My grandson went to MSA for about 3 years and just this year advanced to the first grade. I am extremely satisfied with the level of instruction he received at this school. They have a much diversified curriculum and I was quite impressed with how much he learned on a daily basis. They made learning fun for him and he was always anxious to continue at home. He really enjoyed reading and his comprehension was amazing. It made my job much easier when I reinforced what he learned in school at home. I also liked that they were a culturally aware school and taught him to respect others that may think differently than him. He made a lot of friends in the school and really missed his teachers when he left. Now that he s attending the first grade I really see the advantage he has in his level of education. His attentions to detail, penmanship, math skills, reading comprehension, are just some things I ve noticed he was advanced in. As a parent, I was always concerned about the decisions I made for him. With so many different schools out there you really want to know you ve made the correct choice. I have never once regretted my decision in having him attend MSA.

I have three children that have attended this school. My youngest daughter is 5 years old and is now reading and is progressing nicely in all areas including math, language, and cultural studies. She is excited about learning and can sing a song about the 7 continents, the layers of the earth, and the planets in our solar system. My older son and daughter were both accepted into the Challenge School (for gifted students) due in large part to the education they received and the caring teachers at Montessori School of Aurora. (Challenge School is for advanced children and they turn away many children every year.) I was surprised at some of the negative reviews as the owner of the school has always been kind, helpful and professional with us. Perhaps it's a competitor or disgruntled ex-employee as I noticed some of the reviews were posted in the same week, so probably by the same person. The teachers here are top notch! If you care about your child's education this school is the best!

My daughter has been in this school since October 2010. We have had a very pleasant experience. My daughter has progressed impressively. We haven't had any problems with any of the staff, they are all professional, caring and concerned for the growth of the children. They are all more than happy and willing to answer questions, and will do what they can to take care of any concerns that arise.

Our daughter attended MSA for 4 years. She is a graduate of the full-day Kindergarten program and is now on her way to 1st grade at an International Charter School. The educational and social foundation that she has attained with this Montessori school would not have been possible in a conventional early childhood program. Completing the Montessori program thru Kinder helped our daughter to grow as a strong and self-confident leader, a good decision maker, and culturally aware and respectful. The Montessori materials and lessons are challenging and intuitively teach math, geometry and language fundamentals in a fun and unique way. She now reads at a 3rd grade level and is advanced in vocabulary and science skills. The consistent daily school attendance helped her to feel emotionally secure and build a solid academic foundation that she needs to be a success in the future. My family will always hold a deep debt of gratitude to the top-notch personal attention and care that was provided to our daughter by the schools owners and teachers at MSA. It takes a village to raise children and MSA definitely helped us on the right path to raising a fantastic student and human being.

Both my son and Daughter attended multiple years of preschool and kindergarten at MSA. The teachers were top notch, caring individuals. Both kids came out ahead of their peers in math, reading and science. I especially liked the hands on approach (using manipulative objects) to learning during these formidable years. I highly recommend this school!

My granddaughter attended Montessori School of Aurora and she learned to read there. It is an excellent school that teaches a full curriculum of Language, Math, Science, Cultural Studies, etc. The teachers are very caring and always there to listen to any concerns. I think the negative reviews may be confusing the Montessori School of Aurora (on Smoky Hill Road) with a different Montessori school in Aurora.

my son attended this school for a year and a half, I kept hoping it would get better. It only became worse! This school is very crowded, and does not have the staff to handle all the children it has, the teachers do care but are not engaged enough, they hope that the children can just grab a Montessori work station and pick it up, I could go on and on, about this school. But I wont, email me for any questions, I found RMA, Renaissance Montessori Academy, little more of a drive but hands down I feel this school is one of the best in Denver, and it was recommended by Denver University, this school took my son whom is very active and has strong personality!, and he comes home tired just about every day. They teach the work stations and make sure they complete the station which is a part of the Montessori philosophy, never done at Montessori School of Aurora. They also have a art studio where the reinforce the class room exercises, no bullying or bad behavior on the play ground at RMA, which i can not say for MSA. i hope this helps someone.

Our 2 daughters went here for a combined 5 years and did very well. They learned things that I know are not taught in regular pre-k and k programs. I would recommend MSA to anyone for their children.
