Very negative. My child is constantly bullied. Been to the school many times nothing seems too get better. They do not put their students concerns first.

Not impressed, took the school 7 months to determine my grand daughter needed an IEP, when she had clearly been struggling since day one. My daughter's concern was ignored.

Sunrise is active in stopping bullying. Their programs are working. My kids have not seen any bullying in the 7 years they went there. That speaks to the issue much louder than anything else can. The students report no bullying, good!

This school is inclusive, they reach out to all students. It is apparent, and we have learned about this in Teacher Conferences,

Principal Hardy and his staff are really excellent. They are all interacting with the students regularly, recognizing achievements, encouraging he best from all students. They work to get the best staff they can and it certainly appears to me that they have succeeded very well.

In our 7 years with Sunrise we have seen the administration act to teach kids character. We see it in our kids and know about the programs they have. This school is actively teaching children to be better people.

The teachers are really good at reaching all the students in their class. I see it when in the classroom and hear about it from my kids at the end of their day.

The homework is enough to reinforce the lessons but not so much that the kids are buried under it.

I have had 2 kids go to Sunrise, from K to 5. They got a great education and the entire staff, from Principal Hardy to every teacher, is engaged with their kids. They are all on board to make it a good experience that gets the kids the education they deserve. Our time at Sunrise has been excellent and I can recommend it to any parent looking for a great school to send their kids to.

There were some weeks that my kids would come home with multiple packs to do in 4 days, plus some of their "games" required store visits, nature walks or random crap. Stick to normal homework where I don't have to make a trip out of it!

I have twins that were in kindergarten last year, separate classes. One had a snack time, the other did not. I had to deal with the unfairness of one son getting to take snacks, while the other was STARVING when he got back from school

My kids go to this school, the school itself is fine. They learn. Etc. However, if you are in a roommate type of situation, you have to go through a huge and ridiculous process to get them in. Including getting the owner of the house to go into the school administrators office with paperwork, mail of his, a lease, and notarized paperwork. EVERY DAMN YEAR! Now the owner of the house I stay in is NOT a friendly guy so getting him to do this one time was bad enough, now I have to do it every year that they go through this school! It's absolutely insane! Just to get my kids in a school!

My daughter has gone to Sunrise for three years now and I have only one complaint... They have a dance class that is only 2 grade levels (last year it was 4th/5th, this year it was 1st/2nd) that is by "lottery pick" only so only those chosen get to participate which I don't think is fair. There were 60+ kids that wanted to be in the class but they only have availability for 18 kids.
But besides that, the principal, Mr. Hardy, is great and is always seen talking to parents, staff etc. Mr. Hardy is very friendly! All the teachers my daughter has had so far have been great!

The level of support for the kids with special needs is outstanding. The teachers do everything they can to help these kids succeed.
