I fist toured this school as a perspective parent. After touring I decided to apply for a job there as well. The staff during my tour was so friendly and the facility felt so warm and inviting. I was soon hired as a pre-k teacher. My son also attended the infant room as well as two older kids in the summer camp program. Having both perspectives as a parent and an employee, I can saying with 100% certainty The Goddard School of Aurora is one of the best childcare facilities Ive seen. I am military and weve moved a lot, so I know my way around childcare centers. The teachers are heavily supported by admin, the owner, Sloan Armstrong, is very present in the day-to-day and is not afraid to step in whenever support is needed. The military has since moved us from Colorado but my heart is still with The Goddard team here in Aurora, and we hope to return in a few years.

I love working at the Goddard School in Aurora off Quincy! All of the teachers, directors, and the owner of the school are beyond amazing. They always go above and beyond! I am so happy to be apart of this family!

My son is in the Jr. K class and he gets homework each week. It is just the right amount of work, and he gets so excited to do his homework at home! I enjoy sitting down with him to work on his assignments each week because it allows us to have quality one-on-one time, and gives me the opportunity to see how well he is learning!

The teachers in this school are incredibly dedicated and loving with their students.

Not only do the teachers work hard to teach the children academically, they also work really hard to help the children develop socially. They teach them how to use their words, how to navigate conflict situations, and what it means to be a good friend.

It is obvious that the Leadership team works very hard each day to meet the needs of every student and family. They are extremely friendly, and greet every parent by name when they arrive. It is evident that the administrators love their jobs, and getting to see the children each day!

The teachers make absolutely certain that the students' needs are addressed and that they are treated as individual learners.

Everyone in the school is expected to behave with kindness and respect.

This school is absolutely wonderful and I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for an extremely loving educational experience for their student!

Mrs. Solan and the front desk leadership is amazing. They know the family, they knew my daughters name, and if anything happend they would call us immediately. All the events were so organized and we always looked fwd to them.

I never had to deal with this, but knowing the leadership team I know they would deal with it effectively.

Over all experiance has been amazing. The teachers, the staff, and the leadership team know what they are doing and make you feel at ease everytime your child is dropped off. I never had to worry about her. We will miss this school since we have been there for 4 years. Amazing school, amazing people who work there.

There isn't a need for homework but they do recommend discussing the material that was taught that day. The material they learned that day is on tadpole.

I would say from Pandas through Hippos the teachers are effective since there isn't new teachers coming in. They genuinely care about the kids and have the best interests. I never had to worry about the teachers. My daughter loved them all and still talks about them.

They are interested and interactive with each student. I have loved them all.

They treat the children with such and therefore instill it in the kids.

Team work is the name of the game.

Small class size allows the teachers to truly understand who each child is and what their needs are.

They make sure there is a safe and effective method for handling bullying situations

Our son has been going there for about a year and a half. He has blossomed so much since starting there. The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful. The school provides a very safe environment, which was very important to us. We highly recommend!

0 -If your there with drawl immediately because youll spend thousands of dollars having to tutor your child to get caught up socially and academically. We sent our second child to the Montessori school on Liverpool across from Grandview and our second child is on the same level as our first and is 2 whole years younger. SAD, considering there is zero learning disability and zero IEP. This school is horrible!!!!!
The only reason it has good reviews is because they write their own reviews.

They should be focusing on ALL work during the 8 hour school day at this age. Seriously! Homework????my child was at school M-F for 8 hours. Do your JOB during the school day please!!!!

My student dealt with 3 different kindergarten teachers by late October. When I asked to withdrawal I was told I needed to give 30 days notice. Clearly
could care LESS about what your child is going through, cares about the bank account and how much goes in it.

None of the above! My child lack confidence and is behind socially.
Posted: September 7, 2018
When you enroll in 1st grade and Cherry Creek School District sees this Goddard location on record your child is labeled as a bubble child. Meaning your child lacks skills academically and socially. Our first grade teacher flat out asked us why we NEGLECTED to send our child to a kindergarten program and we had to prove to the state that we did because out child was so far behind.

They do not do a darn thing except separate or remove child from situation. It just continues and the bullylearns nothing about being nice.

My son experienced the typical boy stuff on both sides of it when he was young. If my son was rough with another child we heard about it and with the teacher addressed it, AND when he was the one who experienced someone being a little to rough, it was always handled appropriately. "Boys will be Boys" but these kids learned what was acceptable versus what was not and as a parent I liked that approach.

My story/recommendation on why I love Goddard may be a little different than some because my kids started there during my divorce, and so life was extremely overwhelming during this period of time. Not just for their mom and I, but especially for the kids!! And although the cost was a struggle during that time, it was worth every penny because it gave me peace of mind knowing each day the kids had consistency and stability during our transition. And as a parent, you cant put a price on your childs safety, happiness, and especially at that age their ROUTINE. The people at Goddard loved and cared for my kids like they were there very own! And to be honest they cared for ME too during that period by just being there to listen and working with me during the times money was tight. And the owner, Sloan, on more than one occasion went so far as to pull me into the office just to get in a good cry lol Like I said, it wasnt just a school it was a family.
Heres what I would tell any parent whos looking at other schools and weighing out the costs, because believe me I never imagined that daycare could be so expensive. And yes, there are less expensive schools Im sure. But what MY kids got at Goddard that was above and beyond what some of the less expensive daycares provide were things like photo updates all day long, daily written reports on their progress, Holiday Partys for the whole family that rival anything Id ever had as a kid, regular visits from people like Broncos players to firemen and police to dance troops, etc etc. You get boxes of artwork they did in class on a regular basis too !! And most of all, you get the peace of mind that your kids are in a loving place with teachers who care for them just like family. TO this day I consider many of those teachers friends, and am in regular contact with parents whose kids attended with my kids. So if you asked me if the costs of a school like Goddard was easy to swallow compared to an in home daycare at first, the answer would be no. But I would then say that looking back on what I got for my money, I got the better end of the deal because for what they gave the kids and I, I feel like I owe them so so much more.

We had our son enrolled here for a little over a year. They are absolutely a fantastic daycare, everyone does a great job and they care for your children like their own. We only left because we found an in home daycare that was easier on the checkbook. :)

We have had a wonderful experience. I recommend this school and give it five stars in all aspects. Our child received great instruction. She developed perfect interpersonal skills and a love for reading, writing, math and science. Her teachers are extraordinarily gifted in bringing out the best in their students. The administrative staff are friendly and professional. I am so happy that our child attended this school.
