I went to this school for 5 years, and It is AMAZING! Other reviews from parents say this school is not good, but in my experience, I have had nothing but great memories with teachers and students I cherish. 8 years later, I'm still in contact with some teachers and friends. I don't know what I would have done without this school.
The library is huge, the restrooms and facilities are clean, and the Before and after care are spectacular. There are a lot of new teachers and a new principal since I was last there, But ALL of the teachers when I was there were caring, kind, and helped when you needed it. I was never bullied once.

We came in from a different school and we are disappointed. We left the other school because the curriculum was too challenging for my son but everyday he says that no one cares about each other at this school. All the kids were nicer at his old school and they actually cared about each other. It is unfortunate.

To my knowledge other than STOMP there are no other values taught or reinforced. How about honor, respect, friendship, caring etc... and reinforce those daily.

Bullying is a big problem at this school. My son is bullied daily as are some of his peers, when they try to report it the teachers response is I dont want to hear it. I have witnessed it.

My daughter who is not on an IEP does fine at this school. She has no problems and keeps up with the class. My child that is on IEP feels lost, confused, overwhelmed and comes home in tears wondering why the IEP team hasn't helped her more. She has begged to return to her old school and even to be homeschooled as she feels so lost.

Overall, there are definitely worse schools. We thought we were moving into a great award winning school district and so far, we wish we had of never left Littleton Public Schools.

We transferred to this school from Littleton Public Schools and have been sorely disappointed. Our children are swamped in homework nightly. The school states not to spend more than 30 minutes a night on homework but they have more than 30 minutes assigned per day. It is difficult for my children to keep up, especially coming from a school district that followed the "no homework" philosophy.

We have had good and bad experiences with teachers. Mrs. Livsey and Mrs. Washburn are amazing teachers and work very hard to ensure that your child is doing well and is feeling confident in themselves. However, this philosophy is not shared by all teachers there. Most of the teachers are new and with new children moving in every few weeks, there is alot going on.

This school is very much of the philosophy of good behavior is expected and we will only acknowledge you for negative reasons. They have the good behavior chart but it just doesn't hold the same overall positive experience that it did at Littleton Public Schools. I receive more negative comments from the teachers regarding my children than I do positive and my children have never once been on yellow or red.

Mr. Arritola is an amazing principal but it is unfortunate that we have had to speak to him so many times already. It shouldn't get to where the principal has to step in or investigate to see what happened all of the time.
