I am extremely disappointed with the way this school has treated my daughter, who has autism. Instead of providing the support and inclusion she deserves, she has been repeatedly isolated and neglected. There have been instances where she was placed in a corner rather than being engaged in learning with her peers, which is unacceptable.

What is even more concerning is the ongoing pressure from the special education team to move her to a special education school, despite the fact that she has successfully been part of a general education setting for the past three years. Rather than working to support her needs within the classroom, it feels like they are trying to push her out.

My daughter deserves respect, inclusion, and proper support—not to be made to feel different or less than. The lack of effort, compassion, and appropriate accommodations from staff has been deeply troubling. No child should feel bullied or excluded in a place that is supposed to nurture their growth and education.

I hope the administration takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful changes to ensure all students, especially those with disabilities, are treated with dignity and given the support they need to succeed.

This school truly cares about their students. It is small and it’s nice to go to a smaller school with more individual attention. As a parent, I have falling in love with Montessori curriculum and really think it’s the best way to teach a child. Communication can be difficult for the school but they are streamlining their systems each year. I highly recommend!

From the first week of school and throughout the entire school year my daughter has been subject to foul language, hair pulling, slapping, pushing/shoving, fighting, and other situations. The staff does not instill respectful values, moral, and behavior. They do not have proper supervision on the children to prevent such events and they do very little in addressing events/situations when they are made aware.

Also, they forgot someone's child in the little park behind the school after recess one time and wrote a sorry excuse of an apology via parent email newsletter blaming it on the fact that the child was "hiding".

They will decide last minute if they will have a school closure for whatever social justice rally/protest is going on that they want to be involved with without thinking of the educational and economic impacts of a last minute school closure on the children and children's family that are from low income backgrounds.

They defend anything they do behind "social justice" like showing completely age-inappropriate readings, research, and videos. For example, violent and graphic videos to show law enforcement injustice. Not knowing how to educate and guide children through age-appropriate lessons on social justice has led to some of the children having nightmares, some of them wondering why they are bad for being white, some of them not trusting any law enforcement, etc. The way the school teaches has lead to fear, hate, and racism instead of a learning environment that is conscious but safe and respectful. They force their opinions on the children which is not what an educator should do.

This school advertises being proud in their bilingual curriculum, however, they do not teach but the very basics to kids and when they say that the kids can still lean on their native language in class for support - it actually means they can speak/write/read their native language and not do any of the bilingual work if they don't have to. Which is pointless. My daughter knows just as much Spanish now at the end of the school year that she knew starting the year - she has not learned anything else. I've done way more teaching her myself the past 10 years. That said, don't expect your child to be bilingual in this school.

Lastly, coming from 4 years in a STEM charter school, my daughter was reading above 2 more grade levels and doing math above her grade level and very involved in science. In this Montessori school, she has fallen to barely average scores.

This school does a beautiful job of teaching through the Montessori philosophy and also creating a strong bilingual foundation. The staff works really hard to help all the children and to try to create a community. They have a beautiful philosophy around meeting children where they are and helping them move through their development. Both of my children have loved going there and have been excited to go to school every day. As a teacher I know how hard it is to meet the needs of every child and I feel like both my child’s teachers have worked so hard to create an environment where my kids feel supported. I was nervous sending my children to a bilingual school because I am only English speaking and I’m so glad that I did! We have all grown so much as a family and our learning new things together every day.

If you have a mis with any disability don't even think about enrolle in this school. They are not trained and you will be having calls all the full school year about situation they don't know how do deal with it.

They don't see necessary the homework because it can be stressful por the kid.

If the student goes sad to the school and way he doesn't want to work , the teacher accept it and let him free por the day.

This is a bilingual school which means as parents we need to understand that language learning can take 5-7 years to reach full fluency in the second language. There is a caring community and culture. Parents are always will to help.

This school has no compassion. My husband (and children's father) died and the school called the truancy officer on me and my children. They also told my kids their father died before I even had the chance to tell them. Disgusting. They claim to be able to handle children with special needs but suspended my three-year-old on an IEP because he bit a teacher while she was holding him down, trying to force him to take a nap. They have given me my child at pickup covered in urine and with bruises and scratches on him. When I complained to the office that day, they said they would look into it and never got back to me. The kids at this school are overly aggressive and most of the teacher's don't speak English fluently, I have had to do three teachers conferences through Google Translate. Ridiculous!
