This school overall is very mixed on many different topics, some parts are amazing, some are awful. First off, lots of the teachers are nice and teach well, were as others are way to strict, and are insanely hard to understand, or they give no study material on harder topics. While the building security and security team is great, students alone are not safe at all. There are constant fights, bullying, and kids breaking bones even from student fights straight out of a Disney bully in a movie. Lastly, they do not care about students mental health. Sure there are really good emotional support people in the building, and not all of this is caused by school, but so many kids there are depressed or have even self harm thoughts because school doesn't make it better. And also, I'm not saying we should have more homework, but some teachers are very split on homework, some give sometimes hours worth that are graded, others give like none that are just graded if competition. I as a student here love it, my teachers are great, however there are many things they could improve on.

Pretty good school. I mean yeah there are problems here and there but that's just how it is with every middle school. Teachers are generally very good (7th grade teachers are stellar!) and really care about their students' learning. Shout out to Mr. Li, who is an amazing guy who makes learning fun and is always there for you, along with being really funny! Also, the preforming arts teachers are the best! Next, moderation for cheating could be better. It's certainly not the teachers' fault, but I have seen so many kids get away with using chatgpt, which makes me really mad, because they can get a higher grade for something I put a lot of work into. Sadly, a lot of people just don't care, but there's nothing anyone can really do about that. Like a normal middle school, there have been problems coming up with bullying and stuff like that, however, I feel like it is usually resolved. Lastly, I didn't rate anything 5 stars because although some aspects are great, there's always room to improve! Thanks for reading this, and overall, Infinity is a great place to go!

Sadly, my experience that Infinity Middle school was terrible. Ultimately, I made the choice to pull my children from infinity and the local elementary school because of the culture, the atmosphere, the nonstop, bullying, and teachers, attempting to transition children without parental knowledge. I would not recommend the school district at all.

Communication is worse than horrible. We do not get notice of an event such as conferences, or school activities until the day before, maybe two days before. We have massive forms of communication in the world today, but I guess the school is not up to speed on the ability of said technology.

It has been over three weeks since my child submitted a paper and they have yet to receive the papper back with a grade or feedback. Same with a test. How do kids get better when they do not receive feedback more than three weeks since the test or paper submission. Some teachers do not practice this slowness and actually grade and provide feedback in a reasonable amount if time.

We do have apps to check grades, but the apps don't work. You have to go to the school website, access the webui of the app to see the grades when they are submitted.

No feedback from the teachers. Language Arts teacher will not review rough draft papers to ensure the student is on the right path. They, instead, have other students peer review and provide feedback on the writing. That seems a little odd considering these peer reviewers are learning the mechanics of writing themselves. I think the teacher should teach and provide feedback.

Art teacher flat out told the students that the students cannot get an A for a grade, and a B is the highest the students can get in their art class. Really?

Don't get me wrong, some teachers are good, but not enough.

Administration is very relaxed with discipline. Five suspensions in the first five weeks for the same two kids. Apparently the school's agreement with the parents when drafting a plan to change the student's behavior is not working.

Where is the accountability on the administration who is there to protect the students, guide the students, and ensure their teachers are teaching?

Infinity middle school has horrible teaching and only two bathroom breaks per day, their food somehow makes me feel sick after eating it and their teachers overall don't know what their doing. I do have to say that the social worker Mrs.norwood is great and supportive along with mr.brink, the nurses look at you take your temp then send you back to class, second week their kid stepped on project and said I should be somewhere, the security did nothing even after they looked at cameras. Overall this school should not be licensed for teaching

Horrible school. As soon as we got a new principal hes restricted phone use from free time for "face-to-face connections". deans will come up to you and snatch your phone even if youre not using it. we only have 2 passes for going to the restroom or getting water. there have been multiple threats from students inside the school and outside and physical fights, many kids get bullied and called slurs for no reason. Dean's dont care about yiur mental health, only your grades. do not let your children enroll here

Mrs.norwood is amazing and respects everyone i dont know if anyone notices this but most the review are written by students including me but i have mental heath issues and have been in the hospital alot this year and the school was amazing about making me not stressed and not have to worry i love this! they respect everyone and make me feel so safe there and they care about you and your grades the same.
some teachers are not great though. i have a teacher who dosnt let you go to the bathroom at all.

As a student as a the school they really care about your grades not you only grades that ridiculous. the teachers and students are nice but theres one big problem. if you have a phone in your hand they will take it like I am not using it. I just not feel safe they make you email the teachers your grades and parents its stresses me out. They add the on honor roll that will make student's upset as a 7th grade they should make not test like twice a week not every.Wednesday.

Most of the teachers arent great. The school doesnt care about you, only how your grades are. Principal changed the system so it looks like students are improving when theyre not for money. Please avoid nobody likes it here

The first year was fine. However, the second year was awful. Firstly, lunch. they give you 30 minutes to eat, but if you even stand up, they yell at you. At the end of lunch when you go to recess, they will count down and say, if you do not throw away your food and go outside, you get lunch detention. Doesn't matter if you are still eating, they make you throw it out. This recent year, they added smart pass which is awful, as you only get 4 passes each day. The worst part about it is that if you are 5 seconds late, they make you create a pass to class, which takes an extra 5 minutes because there is a line. The deans are awful. I had a bad friend who pranked me by reported me as "suicidal" to the deans, and even though i tried explaining that it was a prank and the guy is the reason, they sill had to take me out of school and made me go to counseling for the next few weeks. No matter how much explaining i did, i put to much trust in the guy and the deans will not accept the fact that the guy pranked me. This one day, i went to a doctors appointment and had to leave early. Of course, the teachers do not care and still gave me a missing. Overall, good school, ok teachers, bad lunch, and awful deans/counselors.

Probably the worst school you can send your child to. I had an experience with my child in which another girl was bullying her *hit her with an object and got into a fight* and the school did nothing for my child. The other child faced minor consequences as she is a troubled child, so in turn my child was punished for defending herself. This left my daughter feeling unsafe and unable to feel safe communicating what can happen with counselors, and even principals. Teachers dont reach back out when sending an inquiry, nor do they really care about your childs education.

As a student i can say that this school is the definition of mediocre. The smart passes are really annoying, we only get four passes a day and have FIVE minutes to use the bathroom, while that may not seem like a huge thing it is for a lot of female students- and students in general, and TWO minutes to fill up a water bottle. Also, The deans are incredibly harsh or overreactive- a small joking comment to your friends could get you in trouble, or have you talk to the dean, and even if its a private thing you want to get off your chest just to keep between you and the dean- they would tell your parents, even when its not needed. But most of the teachers and nice and good at teaching- i like their teaching styles (mostly) and they basically let me do what i want. Im autistic, and have ADHD i don't have A 504 because my parents don't want me to be treated "better" then others but it gets me in trouble a lot and Most of my teachers just don't understand. But to kids that do have a 504 or are in special ED they treat pretty well. The phone rule is outrageous, im all for not letting phones out when in a learning environment- but if the teacher says you can go on your phone, then you should be able to- when not learning. also they don't let any wireless earbuds, dumb. It helps a lot of kids actually to listen to music but they basically don't let us. NOT TO EVEN MENTION THE TRAFICK

We agree with previous reviews. The administration is the primary pain point, with the principal and her toxic leadership.
My child has expressed concern about how the adults in the lunchroom treat students and the disrespectful tone they use when addressing them. My child also expressed concerns about kids fighting and the lack of disciplinary action enforced along with racist and other offensive remarks overheard from students by students that appear to be overlooked.
The teachers sincerely care for the students and their academic success and wellbeing, and we deeply appreciate them for all they do, but the teacher turnover rate is alarmingly high.
The administration refuses to take accountability for safety and discipline on school grounds. The parking lot is utter chaos and someone is going to get hurt. I have seen multiple near-misses where cars driven by frenzied, distracted parents have come frightfully close to hitting students and even a crossing guard at the four way stop. The principal has stated that parents should not come to her with traffic issues because there is nothing she can do about it. Not acceptable. I have contacted the BOE transportation department with these witness accounts as well, and my calls have gone unanswered. There is one person who stands in front of the school's entryway helping kids cross traffic and clearly she is stressed each morning, shouting at kids to get moving. This is not what I have grown accustomed to at the other schools my kids have attended over the years, and it is not a great start to the day for her or the students. It does not prepare young minds for learning. We don't run a chaotic home, and I don't like my child being introduced to it at school.
The principal seems to be hands-off when it comes to functions she does not find fun or worth her time. Example: she has the understaffed and overworked PTCO parent volunteers creating and distributing the school newsletter and communications, which has never been the function of a PTCO I have ever seen. The school administration should be communicating with parents and allow the PTCO to focus on the specific activities they sponsor and organize. Maybe then, they would not be stretched quite so thin.
Much as I want to feel good about this school, it isn't feasible. While the teachers really do care and are invested, too many move on when they find a better gig elsewhere. Who can blame them? Sad.

As a student at this school, I can say its all over the place. Every few weeks, there will be a school fight, involving full on fist fights over a small problem. On top of that, the staff (specifically the deans) are especially rude. They will yell at the kids for merely standing up while eating lunch, and force them outside just after getting the school's lunch. This results the students to hardy get to finish their lunch, while most teachers after advisory will claim, "you already ate, why are you eating in my class?" in a demanding tone in front of all of the students, rather than having a civil talk on the side. But on the other hand, there are some wonderful teachers who genuinely care about the student's learning. They won't just throw the knowledge at you, they will take the time to have you understand it and move on. I sincerely apologize if this sounds like immature ranting, this was just written to let adults and students an inside view of what it's like to be an infinity student.

We have had multiple children in Infinity Middle school since it opened a few years ago, and it's only declined since the kids returned to in person learning. My currently enrolled child has said she does not feel safe, and has in fact been so bullied that we are considering removing them from school. We have spoken to many other Infinity parents who either have or are considering removing their children as well.

The response from the school has basically been "What are we supposed to do about it?" from most of the staff. Those that care - and they do exist - seem to be leaving for other schools. This school needs a serious culture overhaul.

This school is a joke! The teachers and staff can't control anything. Kids are always walking the halls and going into other classrooms that don't belong to them and disrupting those classes. Which the teachers allow. The parking lot is an absolute mess. The school doesn't even celebrate honor roll students. I mean what school doesn't have an end of year celebration for parents and students to celebrate their hard work. This school is horribly ran and needs a new principal that knows how to manage her staff. I mean a 5 out of 10. YIKES that's embarrassing.

Where to begin. First the administration has changed so much and the teacher turn over rate tells you exactly what you need to know about how they are treated. There have been new teachers every year, it's not condusive. The district is so concerned on how parents will react-- to the point where all the authority that teachers should have has been stepped away. The behavior problems are problematic but teachers can only do so much and the kids are never held accountable by the admin. The curriculum is a joke as well. The equity they talk about is just indoctrination...The teachers are also complacent and most are incredibly young so classroom management isn't their strong suit. Some teachers who have been at Infinity since the beginning have it down. On a more Podgorica note, the performing arts as a unit is strong, especially theater. In working with Ms. Pizarro and seeing all the hard work and dedication she's given the students and the school as well as the orchestration it takes to put on the shows of the caliber that she does, is inspiring. She doesn't get the credit she deserves and she should. Infinity is great thanks to her and the other few teachers that are dedicated to the excellence of the students that attend IMS. My kids still praise Ms. Pizarro and they are about to graduate high school. Thank you, Ms. Pizarro!

this school Is terrible at managing situations and using the funding for the nonsense they don't let the kids ever use. There is o point in all the couches that are banned from being used. The teachers are underqualified and rude do not bring your kids here I'm switching mine soon.

My child recently completed Infinity in 2021. Most of the teachers that my child interacted with primarily taught by videos and computer. Teachers (not all) would lecture/teach for about 10-15 min then the kids were left to finish work via video/laptop. This was a very unengaging school, focused on indoctrinating students and they were not, based on their actions anyway, interested in truly partnering with parents. Cherry Creek School District has fallen apart and are not need the academic needs of the children.

Teachers can be rude to kids with disabilities, the teachers are also very plain and do not try to engage students in anything. The homework is pretty bad only some teachers do this but most of the homework is the kid just copying something down not trying to engage the kid in learning. The bullying is fine but the rare occasions that it happens the teachers do nothing about it. The school is new so it has things it needs to improve on.
