I pulled my child in the middle of the school year. This is very common due to the complete lack of structure and responsibility at this school.

The administration is not at all concerned about the safety or education of the students. The director, in particular, is only interested in keeping the school open so that her and her husband can collect a paycheck. Any parent that brings a concern to her is told to just accept whats happening to their child or they can leave.

Also, Cherry Creek pulled their charter because they were not meeting the states standard requirements and they couldnt maintain a minimum number of students. Many of the children that attend end up at least a year behind their peers from other schools.

I would strongly discourage anyone from sending their children here. They will fall far behind in their education and any abuse they face from other children or staff will go completely unchecked.

Unfortunately, my experience with Colorado Skies Academy has been extremely disappointing, and I feel it's important for families to be aware of the serious issues happening behind the scenes.

To begin with, the school has demonstrated a complete lack of accountability when it comes to student safety. There was a disturbing incident where a student had vaped and was putting the toxic fums in the air and then near the end of the school year some DUDE nearly caused a fire on campus, and shockingly, the administration failed to take any meaningful action. Even more concerning is the way they reportedly handled families who raised concernssuggesting that unless you come from wealth or influence, your voice doesnt matter. Some parents were even allegedly threatened for speaking out.

Another troubling pattern is the favoritism shown toward certain students. There appears to be a group of students that the staff treats differentlyprotecting them from consequences, even when they engage in bullying or inappropriate behavior. This favoritism creates a toxic and unsafe environment for others, especially those who are on the receiving end of harassment.

Bullying at Colorado Skies Academy is not taken seriously. Reports of hateful and even inappropriate comments are often brushed aside or ignored. Victims are left without support, while the students responsible face little to no consequences. This neglect fosters a climate where students feel unsafe and unheard.

Whats even more problematic is that these issues seem to be protected from the top down. There are allegations that the leadershipparticularly involving the founder and their familyare more interested in preserving their reputation than creating a safe and equitable learning environment. If their own child is involved in incidents, it's swept under the rug to avoid scandal, rather than being addressed like any other students behavior would be.

In short, this school has failed in its responsibility to provide a safe, inclusive, and fair environment for all students. I urge prospective families to look deeper before enrolling their children here and to speak with current or former families who have experienced these issues firsthand.

The school has nice people in it including the teachers and they are trying to make there students better

This school just lacks the goodness and has an awful administration. They don't fight bullying and really don't care. One teacher is just really bad. The school destroys a friend group by punishing everyone because of 1 person. Get your stuff together CSA.
