I strongly recommend avoiding this school. The administration and system need serious improvement. The principal does not address ongoing issuesstudents are frequently involved in fights, and there have even been incidents involving weapons without proper action taken. Some staff members seem to receive special treatment, which makes the environment feel unfair and unsafe. I would not recommend enrolling your children here until major changes are made.

I was once a student here at ast and I did not enjoy my time. This school really only cares about numbers and not so much about its students. It is easier for them to rank higher as their grading system is different and they have less students. They use the excuse that we are almost adults when they do not like something, but treat us like kids. They discipline for the littlest things but allow the disruptive kids have breaks and some privileges other well behaved kids would never have. There was a stabbing last year and they let the girl back in less than a month later, not even central would allow something like that. The year before that a kid had an incident with a gun resulting in a death(outside of school) and they allowed him back as well. Violence should never be dismissed and taken more seriously.Do not send your kids here if you want them to have as many opportunities as possible and have a good high school experience.

This high school fails to meet basic educational standards. The teaching staff seems disengaged and lacks the necessary qualifications to provide quality education. Extracurricular activities are lacking, and students struggle with limited resources and support. Students have little room for creativity or self-expression, and punishments for minor infractions are severe. The administration is unresponsive to both parents' and students' concerns, leading to a general sense of neglect. Overall, this school fails to prepare students for the future and does not provide a conducive environment for learning or personal growth.
