This school is terrible, they do nothing for the children, there are children who bring vaporizers to school and when the teachers see them they only expel them for 5 days and then they come back and there are children who do it again, I had a girl in this school and she told me that there were girls who wanted her to buy some vaporizers and give them to them and since my girl did not accept, they were intimidating her and the school never did anything, this school is not attentive to the children and especially in discipline and respect

If your child has any learning disabilities, find another school. The main office staff never seem to know what's going on and they procrastinate to the last minute on everything. My son as ADHD and when we moved we were going to try to keep him with teacher he knew and was comfortable with. But when we kept asking for the paper work and information we needed to keep him there. They kept putting us off tell the last minute. Then told us they were full and the staff seems very happy to be getting rid of him.

Cuando un estudiante tiene problemas de aprendizaje y toma algún medicamento automáticamente es tachado como un niño problema y no como un.niño que aprende de diferente manera y eso es algo que no entienden el trabajador social en lugar de tratarlo como alguien q necesita más apoyo lo trata como un niño diferente y lo único que hacen es bajarle el automáticamente estima y quitarle las ganas que tiene de ir ala escuela y por más que se esfuerzan de demostrar que son como los demás solo con diferente modo de aprender ellos se empeñan en márcalos como ignorantes o problemáticos

Directora casi apunto de expulsar a mi hija y Lena yo un reporte xq yo llebaba a mi hija a clases de joyería y como mi hija llebaba un desarmador ala escuela y cosas q usa para hacer su joyería que yo igual le
Dije. Mi hija eso no lo lleves ala escuela entre ellos un encendedor pues le expliqué ala directora y levanto un reporte como abriendo un caso para mi hija y obviamente ya está en un récord escolar solo por no saber tratar a un niño con diferente modo de Aprender y los tratan como locos y como delincuentes

The school tries but don’t students do take care and even with Iss or Oss the parents don’t care and it’s basically a vacation to them and parents aren’t mad at them.

Their are some teachers who are mostly strict and also be super tough on the students the first day.

It’s a ok school but the school treats the middle schoolers like babies, and they say they are, but their not. They treat them as elementary kids and don’t even realizes their treating them like 1st graders. My other parent friends told them their kids who go to p-8 schools are treated better then this. I say all p-8 schools should treat all middle schools the same.Also the lunches are horrible. They most likely run out of the food by kids lunch time and upsets him. I think they need to order more or just get catering since they can’t make enough food every kid in the school.I hope things change at that school in the future.

My kids tell me it depends on teachers and how they give it. Some teachers treat them like high school when they’re only in 7th grade.

My daughter started going to Clyde Miller in 2 ND grade and is now in 6th grade. The first year I felt very unwelcomed at the school. Then in the years that followed I felt welcomed but that the students behavior was out of control. This year I feel that the new admin team is trying to hold students and parents accountable. I am excited to see what the rest of this school will do to help prepare students for life.

We started attending this school in the fall of 2011. My girls loved it, the principal really cared about the kids and the school. The school was well taken care of and clean. In the fall of 2015 a new principal was put in place along with some of her friends as "staff" members. The school went down hill immediately. It stared being dirty and not cared about, not decorated, awards were given to student who were caught using drugs on school grounds, quarterly awards were replaced by student of the month, teachers were verbally abusing the kids, older children were threatening the school and parents were not notified, etc. To much to list here. This new principal and her "friends" have ruined what use to be a great school. Very sad, my girls loved this school and we had to remove them.

There is way too much homework in this school. My student will be starting 6th grade and was warned that it will be even more. My student last year would be doing homework from the time they got off school for the next 3-4 hours depending on the day. This is bad since they don't have a lot of activities at school, how can you expect them to do good in school and be physically active after school.

This school has many great teachers and instructors as well as courteous students attending it!

My girls really enjoy going to Clyde Miller. The only complaint I have is there could be more physical activity. This year, for some reason, there is a week of each special (P.E., music, art, technology) which puts the kids sitting 90% of the month. But other than that I'm happy, but most importantly the kids are happy.

All my 5 kids have attended Clyde Miller, My oldest is now 22 .The principle Ms. Garvy is so awesome, she pays attention to everything and everyone. She is totally committed. I feel my children are in a safe and caring school.. No worries from this parent...
