I was there for most of my life and I loved it. It is most definitely worth the amount of money you must spend to go here. This is because of all the programs they have and field trips that most private schools definitely don't have. Slight bulling but this is a problem in all schools. Learning differences are not a problem since they will allow special help to help you. Teachers are very helpful and are fun. They make you do Dance Music and art so you are exposed to each subject. VERY large History program. I am a much better writer thanks to Pine Point. The students are mostly easy to get to be friends with. And it is a welcoming community. I recommend this school

This is by far the best school for grades k-9 in the region. They remain true to their philosophy of cultivating "strong minds and caring hearts."

Bullying was bad, there was no support from the staff because the bully's parent was giving loads of $$$ to the school.

Absolutely false. Beware parents, kids of rich donors will get away with ANYTHING!!!!!

This is true only in appearances. When a child is struggling, there is some support, but not much. The parent has to pay top find the appropriate tutoring.
When the child has a very developed intellect and a IQ surpassing his teachers, nothing is available.
Latin is taught online, math is taught online.

No student who is buried and made believed that it's his/her fault can develop in such an environment.

This place was awful. Students were belittled by others, or differed, and the staff did nothing to help, quite the contrary.
They have opaque policies, nothing is transparent.

Fine teachers for elementary school. Not challenging enough for the brightest kids

lots of projects and homework, sometime just busy work, sometimes worth it

The leadership issue has been fixed and the school remains the best for K-9 education in the area. The teachers are amazing and my child has had a wonderful experience over the past 4 years.

In the 12 years my children were at the school I can say that the faculty is wonderful and they are what truly set the school apart. That said the current leadership is horrendous and needs to be replaced. Hope they can recover and get back to being a truly wonderful school

This school cares about your child as a whole person - it's not just about learning academics, but about learning to be a caring and responsible human. Children are taught at their level and given so much individual attention to help them reach their full potential. My kids love it!

My gifted son has been going here for 3 years, after 4 years of public school that failed to meet his educational needs. He loved it from day 1! His exact words were " Finally I'm able to learn! I never want to go back to public school." This is a wonderful school with excellent staff and a great sense of community.

We are well into our first year at Pinepoint and LOVE it! The teachers absolutely engage and excite your children to learn! We feel the faculty is dynamic and care about the children's overall academic life. We appreciate the parental community. It is a caring, social group. There is NO element of snobbery..rich or not your child will win!

I am a student at Pine Point School, and I have to say I LOVE it! I have been there since pre-school. The teachers truly care. The school has challenging academic programs, which is good because it makes tests and school in general easier in the long run. The arts there are fantastic too. I also love the sports you can do. Being a student there I have learned to help others and think about how my actions really affect others. The experiences at Pine Point are remarkable. Everyone at Pine Point is like a family because we all love and care about each other.

Pine Point School has been a lifesaver for my entire family. They provide a loving, stuctured, rich, and happy environment that you cannot find in public school. The school is full of happy adults who are committed to the whole child, and to the whole school. The education is rigorous, unlike other schools that babysit all day. Each of my children has different needs, and together, we have made a successful learning enviroment for all of them. Pine Point is a cooperative learning experience I wish every child and family could have. The class size is perfect, and the arts are divine! The assumption that it is a bunch of rich kids, has obviously been made by someone, that has not done the research. The student body comes from many different backgrounds, which enhances the overall educational experience. Pine Point offers experiences of a lifetime, for all ages of students.
