Great School. Outstanding programming for young ages. exceptional outdoor space. School could target learning differences earlier and could improve in its math teaching and outcomes. Yet overall, this is a really great place.

This school is phenomenal! The teachers are amazing and the leadership is thoughtful and deliberate in the intellectual care and development of the students. They do this through continuous play and discovery, while ensuring they are collectively evaluating and making better the way in which they teach the students and leverage Beauvoir community's resources.

As the parent of a child who attended Beauvoir from Pre-K to 3rd grade, I can truely say with gratitude and tremendous appreciation that the faculty and every staff member there work especially hard to ensure that your precious gift that you've entrusted to them develops a love for learning. The students are bubble wrapped in the Beauvoir life rules of respectful, responsible, honest and kind. The entire school building is state of the art. The student population is diverse and class sizes remain small by design; limited to 10 boys and 10 girls with the best of the best from a national/international search of primary and secondary teachers in each classroom. The school is located on the grounds of one of Washington, DC's most visited tourist attractions, The National Cathedral with breathtaking panoramic views of the city. There is 100% parental support within the Beauvoir community for the administration, teachers, and all activities sponsored by the school throughout the school year; from global studies night, math mornings, curriculum based field trips, child enrichment programs, and lasting friendships. This school is worthy of strong consideration and truly a must see!
