MSCC is a wonderful school. Our son has been attending for the past year (from 1.5 to 2.5 years old), and my husband and I are continually amazed at our sons social, emotional, and developmental growth. The toddler teacher, Ms. Pfefferman, is an amazing teacher and caregiver. Her love and care for her students is so special and I love watching my son develop strong bonds with her and all of his friends at school. Our friends abs family constantly comment how advanced our son is in all aspects of development and we know it is because of this school.

My granddaughter has been in MSCC for three years. I don't believe there is a better pre-school option in the DC area, regardless of cost. My granddaughter has blossomed under the generous and kind guidance and instruction of the staff at MSCC. As a retired educator who has visited hundreds of schools, I have observed not only the overall academic and social growth of my granddaughter, but the gentle school atmosphere, the kind ways children relate to each other, and the careful focus of the staff on ensuring all the children receive a quality educational experience.

We are grateful to have found MSCC and entrust the fabulous staff to teach our children independence. My daughters adore their teachers and have shown tremendous growth. We selected this school because of the French immersion class and continue to be impressed with all aspects. We love the diversity, the confidence my 4-year-old displays, the respectful environment and the fact that both of our kids enjoy going to school. My family also enjoys that my girls can communicate with them in French. The teachers have taught us a lot as parents and I look forward to watching my children grow over the next few years with our MSCC family.

I have had my daughter at the Montessori School of Chevy Chase since she was 18 months old (she's now 4 1/2). Last night I attended Parent Night at MSCC. After listening to her teacher talk about their shared values and focus on peace and diversity - and feeling moved by the palpable love she felt for teaching, learning and for each child in her class - I'm compelled to share how happy my family has been with this unique school. My daughter's way ahead of the game academically, enjoys movement classes (PE) and art (as evidenced by daily showcases), and spends part of every school day considering the meaning of kindness and peace. It's a special school.
