I have been teaching at Browne for ten years, and have been happy for every single day of those years. The number one joy of being at Browne, of being in this community, are the relationships I have with my students and families. The community at Browne is strong and involved, and I value the communication that we share. Further, the relationships I have with other teachers is extremely valuable to me. Whether it's collaboration, planning, problem-solving, or building friendships, the hardworking faculty and staff at Browne are committed to growing and providing the most positive environment for our children. I have been teaching in the district for 17 years, and I attended DC public schools myself, from first grade through 12th, and there is nowhere--NOWHERE--I'd rather be. We are growing stronger, and I intend to see it through, until we have attained our place as one of the best schools in the city. The clear academic gains we have been making steadily over the last several years attest to the legitimacy of this aspiration. Bomber pride!!!

Great school in one of the more suburban-like areas of Washington, DC. The teachers are great and many live in the area. In the years ahead, this school will prove to be a powerhouse institution in DC.
