We have had two children at French Maternal School. The teacher to student ratio is very low, and the kids get a lot of attention. By the third year they are already very advanced academically and obviously speaking French fluently. The program is top for early childhood and the community is great.

My son is trilingual and we couldn t be happier about that, but finding the right school to help us with his language education wasn t easy. That s why we re so happy with the French Maternal School in Georgetown. Their French immersion program is fantastic, but beyond the language skills my son is getting there, I ve also been extremely pleased and impressed by their curriculum and most importantly, by the level of care and attention my son has received from his teachers and the school staff. Children stay with the same two teachers during the 3 years they spend at this school, and at this age--between 3 and 5 years-old--having that consistency in their lives is critical. The community of parents and students is diverse, and there s a lot of communication between parents and teachers.
