There are roach infestations and rats all over the school, constantly over flowing tollites and doors break when trying to open.

Its not petfect..I'm not sure any beach school in America is without some issues. Out kid earned an academic scholarship to University of Florida so we're happy with Fletcher HS..

My daughter has been a student at this school since October 2017 and she has been bullied by the same students. She showed me a Snapchat today, TODAY showing two girls jump one student. She was ripped out of her chair. The poor teacher was in the middle of it. She has the video on her phone and I think she should call this school out on social media. Maybe then this horrible school will do something about BULLYING!

We have moved around the past 5 or 6 years and had to send our 3 children to several different schools...this high school happens to be the worst overall experience we have ever had with any school ever. From the lack of efficient administration (councilors office especially inept) to teachers who can't teach, I can't think of one good thing to say.
Math especially was a joke for both my kids who attended. Completely unacceptable, the numbers on math testing at this school prove my point. The pre-Cal teacher had the entire class failing and my daughter had to switch to on-line FLVS her Junior year to essentially teach herself and get her grade up for her transcript (which she brought up to an "A" on her own). My daughter who would have been a Senior who was an honors/AP student this past year decided to home school after another terrible start to here year. We had a couple of good teachers the year before that, however those teacher quit and got away from Fletcher due to all the internal issues. They have a new band/art teacher each year for the same reason, no good teacher wants to stay Fletcher after dealing with the b.s. here. In no way is this school in general preparing students for a college education.
Transcripts - a whole other problem! When my daughter did start applying to colleges last fall over HALF THE COLLEGES SHE PAID TO HAVE HER TRANSCRIPT SENT TO NEVER RECIEVED IT!!! So basically Fletcher caused her to loose out on scholarship / acceptance to several different colleges. I can see if maybe one transcript got lost in the mail...but not 4!
Do not believe some of the great ratings online, this school was awful.

I am so glad my son got to go to this school.The teachers really care and my son loves this school.He has been here for 2yrs now and he has been doing excellent at this school.Compared to the school he use to go too.This school and the teachers are great.Thanks Fletcher for being a awesome school.

Duncan Fletcher high school is a great school with lots of amazing teachers and staff. This little
Community near the beach is fabulous as well. My daughter excelled in her gifted classes and really loved her teachers. Anytime she had a question she could email her teachers and they would reply quickly. I know this school is rated a 7 but it should be higher as this school is great. Thank you
