The following is a long-term (5-year) review.
Primrose School of Fleming Island exceeded our expectations in every way and will forever hold a special place in our family's hearts.
In the beginning (2019) my wife and I were looking for a place that was MORE than a daycare. We wanted structure, cosnsitency, and an environment that would nurture and encourage our daughters' development. Primrose School of Fleming Island provided that and more.
The staff, teachers, and administrators are passionate, caring, accomodating, transparent, excellent communicators, and receptive to feedback. They provide more than a school or daycare. Primrose School of Fleming Island provides a community. One that is safe, academic, clean, understanding, helpful, and voted "Best of Clay" for the last 3 years in a row!
Thank you for 5 wonderful and memorable years!
Gratefully,
The Hughes Family

Have had a wonderful experience for both children. Would highly recommend for PK!!!!! Office staff works hard to ensure children are well cared for & are achedemically challenged.

I love every aspect of Primrose School of Fleming Island from the management to the teachers. The atmospehere from the moment you walk through the front door is inviting with an "at home feel". Both of my children love going to school and even want to go on weekends.

Almost 5 years ago, I walked in the front door of Primrose exhausted and feeling defeated from trying to find the right place to care for my 16 month old. After seeing other places that reminded me of the movie Kindergarden Cop (out of control kids and worn out teachers), I was relieved by what I found at Primrose. The 1 year olds were sitting quietly at a table while the teacher read a book yet they actively participated in the story. I was hooked. Now, 5 years and another child later, I still feel confident about sending them to Primrose. No place is perfect but the staff works hard to make the children engaged and happy. Any concerns we have ever had are prompted addressed.

Primrose has provided an appropriate mix of structure, nurturing, and academics to allow my oldest child to problem solve and make appropriate decisions for her age. I currently have a younger child who is going through the same program and I can see the milestones progressing similiar to the first. I attribute this to the logical and data driven curriculum that is established by Primrose. Through this structured curriculum it leaves little error for staff which provides more than just babysitting.

My child was a previous student at Primrose School of Fleming Island and has excelled in all areas of education and is actually in advanced classes. I owe that all to Primrose and the quality of education they stand for. The teachers are superb and there was never a classroom my child went into, and he was there from 2 years old until he entered school, that I was not happy with the teacher and the curriculum. I am so glad there is a preschool on Fleming Island that is committed to early childhood education and feel fortunate to have had my child have such a wonderful preschool experience!

My impression of the Primrose School is less than favorable. While touring the School the teachers were not engaged with their children, they seemed to love the use of computers as opposed to teaching.

Just to give everyone else a heads up. Once your child starts to attend and gets used to a daycare it is hard to change them to another daycare. This is clean, and professional daycare. But there are a few problem. Problems you would think that would not be at any daycare, especially one this expensive. Under staffing: Majority of the morning 7:30-9:30am and 4:30-6pm is only one teacher in EPS1&2( 2-3yrs). I have counted about 10-12 kids to one struggling frustrated teacher during these times. Between 9:30am-4:30pm there are 2 teachers. But during the other times, the ratio of students to teachers is far too high. I and other parents have observed this for well over 1 year. This is the toddler age and you can often "catch" the poor frustrated teacher screaming at the kids. It is not the teachers fault by any means, this is an administrative thing
