After reading the last review, and having run a large child care center with my wife for 20 years, I would say that this parent either had a problem that she is not revealing, or had a severe separation problem with leaving her infant. This could be the case, if she is a first time mother. This happens quite frequently. I am familiar with this center, and can not believe that anyone would tell what what she was supposedly told.It sounds like she was not letting the child get accustomed to daycare. It sometimes takes 3 or 4 weeks to get adjusted. By the way, you cannot FORCE an infant to sleep, which makes her claim even more suspicious. There was something more that we are not being told. Having been in the business for as long as I have, you want to increase, not decrease your enrollment. You don't do that by telling someone they are an unfit parent. This person is not telling the whole story, plain and simple. The room is the proper size - those numbers are set by the State. I've been in all 3 Sandcastles, and I have found them to be clean, modern, well equipped and safe. I'm writing this basically because I hate to see a place condemned unjustly.

My baby had a difficult time at this daycare. The baby room is way to small to meet the needs of all the babies. The care workers admitted to me that they forced my child to sleep so that did not have to deal with his crying. The environment was so unfit for my baby that he refused to take a bottle from them. Day after day they would turn to me and basically say that I was an unfit parent. The comments were so stressful that I felt uncomfortable dropping him off until I decided enough was enough and removed him. When departing, the owners continue to tell me that I was unfit and that is why he is not progressing way he needs to be. Unfortunately, they were not able to experience how much fun he actually is and truly assess him appropriately. How could they.? He slept five out of the six hours he was there.
