Overall I feel like safety of my child is there number one concern. And my daughter has made better grades since shes been in this school than she did all of her years in elementary.

My daughter was severely Bullied, I tried to address this situation on a number of accessions,nothing was handle remotely correct, I had to pull my daughter from this school and have her do her schooling from home, she was not only bullied by her piers but bullied by the principle and some of the staff, the pretty much shunned her and sided with the bully! This didnt surprise us, the front staff is lacking communication skills and just pleasant skills in general!

the teachers and staff, are lacking serious compassion towards any student with any kind of Disability or problem in general, I guess this type of behavior coming from Adults is really effecting the way these children treat one another!!

My Daughter has attended this school for Three years and I have seen her do home work a handful of times!

The teachers are lazy, my Daughter has some trouble in math, the teacher goes over the assignment and if she asks her for help its declined!

My daughter was raised to be respectful, compassionate, and considerate of others, I guess having been put threw the bullying she has endured she has change significantly over this past year, we are hopeful for a fresh start to high school in the fall!

The leadership at this school is non existing, the student in witch are picked for peir mentoring, the majority are the ones Bullying the students!!!!!!!

This school doesnt deserve a single star, nothing about this school is remotely appealing, if you are deciding to sign your child up with this school, I would advice you to do your research, do not make the same mistake we have made!

I have had a wonderful experience here at BAS. As a parent and a teacher I feel BAS is more concerned for the students as individuals as opposed to just a number or FSA score. The staff, administration, and teachers are always helpful and considerate of student's needs.

Love this school! The small number of students allows them to focus of each student and their needs! The staff and teachers are so friendly and always there if I need anything or have any concerns.

BAS holds their students accountable for getting all work done including homework. If they have missing assignments they have after school tutoring to get it done. They also do not give a ridiculous amount of homework.

When I decided to send my son to BAS in 2010 it was graded as an A School. It is currently a C school. Very Disappointing! My son's papers (although a straight A student) were often littered with comments on what he did wrong, without much if any of the positives noted. My son was babied or as another reviewer states "pampered", which I appreciated when he was a 6th grader, however I question how well they're preparing their students for the reality of High School. For only having 286 students they are not very organized. Last year at back to school night, with just three days before the start of school, schedules were not ready. It's just a few days away from August and I still have not received my son's F-CAT scores from last spring. My son complained about three teachers in particular (two that only worked there for a short time) regarding bad attitudes, being inappropriate and shopping on their cell phones during class. All in all my son enjoyed his time at BAS. I was almost always kindly greeted by a particular office staffer whom I and my son greatly appreciated! There are many great extra-curricular activities offered at BAS! RAISE THAT GRADE BOBCATS!

My step daughter has graduated BAS and off to High School. All 3 years she enjoyed attending Beulah Academy. The classes are small the teachers and staff are just wonderful. Now my daughter is attending 6th grade here at BAS so far she is loving it.

Good teachers that are handicapped by the administration. Administrations bottom line is the money they get for the number of students enrolled in their school. Teachers teach only those things that will be on the FCAT. Students are pampered to the extent that it hurs their education.

This school will keep your child challenged...I love that part about it. There are also advanced classes available which is great. Very safe school too.
